is there a way to switch time format on status bar from am/pw to 24hr ?
I'd imagine that option be in Date & Time Settings. Find it near the bottom of MENU > Settings.
i would like to try dis rom but everytime i wipe all the data and cache and try to install dis rom im getting an error right at the beginning

go to advanced in recovery and toggle verification off
yes ive tried it, but switching this changes time in whole system but dont change time in status bar, and only there.
so that's weird and i think thats belongs to 360launcher used in this rom
second question: is there a fine way to update installed launcher ?

I would like to ask for some help about flashing HomICS Rom...After trying flashing the rom for times again and again, I've got the same result: the process of flashing and booting is O.K., but then when the first page of Language/Date and Time Settings or applicable coming-up pages appears for first use I've got stuck with freezing screen...Moreover sometimes when I could get through to first use screen, I lost some apps like Play Store and SuperUser and etc...I can not figure it out...why it turns out like that? (wiping data/cache/dalvik cache or even formatting everything (except SD card is the method I applied)...yet can not beat this issue....So I would like to ask for some suggestions here....thank you and looking forward to hearing from you..:good::good::good:

It's basically HomICS_2.0 Venus with some bloat removed and some other "bloat" installed (in principle no social networking, and some daily use apps equivalents replacing stock apps: K9 mail, dolphin browser, RealCalc, bizcal, Touchpal keyboard and contacts...). I also recovered the search button function (in my opinion since we have the hardware button on Legend it makes sense to use it too) and replaced 360launcher by LauncherPro.

I'm really impressed by this ROM. It's fast and looks great.
However, there's one thing that bothers me : I'd like to use the search button as it's meant to be. As search button, not as on/off. Is that possible?
EDIT: found the flashable zip to restore the search function. :thumbup:
EDIT2: when toggling mobile data connection off using statusbar controls i lose regular phone connection and r for roaming gets displayed.
EDIT3: I really like this rom, however, I need to flash a different one because this one keeps switching to roaming (even when doing nothing) which could get expensive one day...
When switching mobile data off using settings everything works as it should.
Is there a way to fix this?
Also, what exactly do the jelly bean extras contain beside jb wallpapers?

i have just installed the rom but i have a problem. i have created an ext3 partition but when i try ty enable link2sd i get an error that says something about error mounting script , cannot create /system/etc/install-recovery.sh: noy enough memory,
the phone is unlocked but s-on

Your phone is NOT unlocked at all, you are using hboot 1.01 and it is s-on so it is impossibly unlocked! You need to do the hboot upgrade and unlock it.

- look into memory informations
- if there is not enough free mem in the system partition, you have to delete some sys-apps like wallpapers or any other app you dont need, or convert one into an user app, although with link2sd
The user is NOT unlocked and is s-on so your proposals are not going to work unless they drop to recovery and do stuff via adb

Really didn't notice any real drop in performance.
I think it more or less depends on the speed of the sdcard and what parts you store on it.
I only store my applications and application data on the sd,no dalvik-cache and it works fine.
But i'm no expert on the matter...
