Reporting my GPS experiance, GPS was no good for me, 1 hour no GPS lock, I had 3g data on, location lock was showing me something like 1000 km away, mock locations is disabled. GPS signal was fluctuating, droping in and out, low signal. I have the 35.05 radio.

I did faced same issues and my location was showed some 1000 - 1500 KMS away from where I was..:(

But GPS was locked very fast with the satellites

why don't u try update your radio? i use 7.13.35.13 it's the latest i think, 2 years latest lol
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1008384
Some one on xda mentioned that radio was supposed to be only for USA phones, after researching official rom wwe and ruu releases it seamed to confirm this as the releases with 35.05 were Australia and Europe and 35.13 USA only so I'm not sure what the real deal is, I have the new radio update zip on my phone so ill change it and test it on my way home from work tonight.
Thanks homi3kh

actually i had many prob before when i got old radio but since i switch to 35.15 nothing critical yet, it doesn't matter for the location, the number mean it's newest and it suppose to do something lol

OK, I flashed the newer radio 35.13, didn't seam to help, at least in my case :(. With my 30 min drive home, GPS on, wifi on, mobile data on, no luck getting GPS lock.

The only custom rom's where I've had perfectly working GPS is "thelegendarylegend's fuse" (cm7.1 based) and blay0's 8.4.

However, with these false locks with wrong locations given are being envoked by the line in gps.conf
INTERMEDIATE_POS=1

If you change it to 0 instead of 1 you no longer get the false lock with wrong location.
For me, GPS is not the be all and end all of any rom, so if its not working, well so be it...
Don't shoot, Just reporting my findings.

I have been working with this ROM now for a few days and just want to share my experience. First I experienced some problems with the responsiveness of the screen. Seemed to freeze for a while. I was using S2E. Removed it, repartitioned my ext2 to ext3 and started to use link2sd. This is working very well and no more trouble with the screen. No more messages that the system is not responding :).

The rom is running very smoothly now. I got my first GPS lock whithin 1 minute and still no problems, running 35.05.

I have one issue, which is the battery consumption. This one is quite high. Can't last a day. But I am a happy user :D

If I have to test anything, please let me know.

Hello farukb :D, I do get signal from sats same as I always get, so with the fact that I'm getting signal and I eventually get lock in zeubeas rom, and as I mentioned before, GPS is perfect on fuse rom and blay0s rom, I think the hardware is fine.

i think something about the kernel, zeubea rom use kernel .35 this one use old kernel .32
anyway thx for the info, but immediate location isn't that bad right? ;)
let's try something ranger4740, pull boot.img from that rom and flash it with this ROM :D let's see if it boot and if ur gps will work :good:

lower ur cpu frequency 768 will still run smoothly ;) S2E will move your system dalvik-cache to ur sd card which absolutely slow ur system down, Link2SD won't that's why it is still smooth :D i also put ur finding in the recommendation in first post.

i'm about to ask him this question too, it's strange

No. Could you make a version of your rom (or any other solutions) with the default action ofsearch button?
here a flashable zip, just flash it without wipe and ur buttons will back to original.
i recommend u to unlock ur bootloader at htcdev.com/bootloader just follow the instruction there.
