a bit offtopic,sorry.....try out noop i/o scheduler...it performed better than deadline for me...waaay better....use either setcpu or whatever method you used to set deadline

Tried the noop scheduler. Benchmark is worse than with deadline.

i did mention in the instruction, this is a deodexed ROM, of course it take ages to reboot for the first time but the second time will take less, and only take longer when u install many apps.

it take long when it need to generate odex files, once every of ur apps odex file is generated your next boot will be faster.

Hi farukb & others, my hardware used to work perfectly but I get the feeling something has gone a miss, I tried going back to blay0s rom and the original rooted eclair version to confirm if the GPS is still ok and I'm getting the same issues with those roms too, so some where along the line it looks like my hardware has gone faulty (killer bee's) between rom flashes thanks for all your helps.

While playing music its blabbering the songs for few miliseconds.. and then plays smoothly automatically. Js like sometimes if another apk is running in the background or if u unlock the device then it occurs.

check if you download the right file, don't confuse JellyBean extras.zip as ROM, and also check md5 if your download is not currupt

yep it must be caused by beats audio, anybody else face this prob?

my boot time is normal, maybe u don't use many deodex rom.

check if you download the right file(118,52mb), don't confuse JellyBean extras.zip as ROM, and also check md5 if your download is not currupt

I'm sure it's the right file.Anyway i'm redownloading it and trying it again.
EDIT:tried it again.still not working

my phisical buttons are dying... and i would love to continue using my legend
or can you explain a bit the modifications you've made to the framework apk? started to look at them myself but a litle tip would do a lot

Adding widgets fails

First of all, thanks for the great ROM! I am using it in stead of CM7.2 and it rocks!

I am running into one strange thing: I have 4 screens, home screen only has an analogue clock widget, second three widgets and some shortcuts,third some 15 shortcuts, but the fourth: as soon as I add 'Android Agenda Widget', I am not able to edit the screens.

Meaning I can't add widgets, shortcuts or whatever. Only when I remove the Agenda widget I can edit the screens.

I have wiped cache etc., did a clean install of this ROM.

I really want to use that widget, it gives me a good overview of appointments AND tasks.

Can someone point me in the right direction of solving this problem?

not possible because this is gingerbread, on-screen buttons only available in ICS.

Android Agenda Widget? i don't think i have that in my ROM, if you mean Agenda widget that i modded from 360 launcher, i add it in the screen just fine :-s are you using 2.0 Venus? if you switch from 1.0.1 to 2.0 did you do full wipe?

2 questions from me..

1. i seems i've lost all my contacts from my sim (not showing), i put my sim in another phone and they all there, any ideas of how this can be solved?

2. is there a way to switch to a phone keypad input, not use to having a keyboard all crammed up in a small screen.
