I know that all are going after JellyBean and ICS..but battery life, video playback,camera...many things are better in gingerbread..
But JellyBean...its UI sweeps us off our feet!!:victory:

So I thought of backporting certain JellyBean features into our beloved CM7..

This started off my hobby..modding CM7 to suit my likes...then I thought of a new thread in XDA..

Features (As of now)

• Based on CyanogenMod 7.2 For P500
• Network,Sensors.. works!!..No more patch needed
• JellyBean Theme
• JellyBean Transitions
• JellyBean Statusbar (No Notification Mods)
• JellyBean Settings
• JellyBean Button Layout

All the above is build into the system..no external app.

• ES File Explorer
• Latest Hosts file for Ad-Blocking
• Google DNS Servers for better browsing

Which mod do you prefer?? xLoud or Beats...
I have never tested any sound mods as most breaks DSP.

Status bar now looks like JellyBean...but I don't know how far I can implement those Notification Mods...

xLoud and Beats Audio are compatible. You can put both :good:

The rom sounds promising. But of course it would sound promising to have the battery life of CM 7 with the look and feel of JB.
The BIG questions is how much of these features will work properly?
I just got my hands on cm 9.2.2 and its very nice the only thing that i would list as semi working is wifi tethering and i say semi working because after turning it off the phone reboots. It even has the elusive offline charging working not sure if there are any other roms other than stock that have that.

It is actually meant for JellyBean...I will try as soon as I finish up all mainstream works...:good:
