Ive somehow stuffed my defy+ with this rom, its probably not this roms fault but mine somehow. Im completely new to rooting and roms and know just about nothing, so assume i know nothing.

Heres what i have:
defy+ was running 2.3.6 telstra rom for australia, as it came from the shop.

What i did:
- Rooted it using superoneclick, went well said it all worked well and was rooted.
- Installed custom recovery mode 2ndInit.
- Rebooted into 2ndInit and selected to install from zip, selected WhiteRabbitEditionPlus-1.3.zip, and that seems to go well, went through all the nice pretty menu options and left most if not all on default(except selecting english) and let it install..

it installed for a while and then was sitting on android load screen for ages.. i let it sit for about 10 minutes with android slowly glowing back and forth.. i thought this was taking way too long and there was various mentions of having to pull battery out.. so i did. Didn't achieve anything, still sits at android load screen indefinately slowly glowing when you try start her.

I can still get to bootloader and recovery menu.. but its gone back to normal recovery menu now, i assume the rom overwrote the custom 2ndInit one. So.. is it fixable, if so how?

thanks!

Hmmm you should have the right ROM because PLUS is for 2.3.6 and higher. Nearly everybody get in the bootloop at the first time, it is KANG's problem. But after pulling battery and back it should work. The normal boottime is about 3 minutes, not more than 5 minutes.

Can you still see the blue LED light when booting so that you can go to the Bootmenu and to Custom Reocvery. If so I would try to install the normal Edition and back to the PLUS, one of the Versions should work.

If you can't go there you have to flash an original sbf Firmware. There should be some here in the Forum. Yeah Defy+ Users, you are always the stuffed ones ;)

Let us know how it went

when it starts up i see a green light shortly and a blue light shortly.. is there something i can do at those stages to enter custom recovery? because the normal way of getting to recovery by holding down volume up while powering takes me to the standard recovery which doesnt have the install file from zip option.

Awesome, something I know the answer to!
Your 2nd init sounds fine, to get to custom recovery all you do is power up, and just as soon as you see the blue led, hit volume down.
Your recovery should load right up.
If you wait until the green light, you were too slow, just reboot and try again.
Holding power and volume only goes to stock recovery (or adb)
Hope this helps!

and will the supercharger v6 mod be in this rom?

which bugs???
i´ve got just one little inconvenience, the first time rebooting, once finished and i´m in the lockscreen (the first time with each reboot), i can´t unlock easyli, i mean i move my finger once down and nothing, second time and nothing, third time appears the message telling me to pull my finger down
Apart from that, it´s incredible, and i´m still finding new things

sorry, not so good to include such features to it, have to ask CM7 Developers, they are really cracks. But I look everyday for the new KANG and they already included some nice new features since my Version. Will make a new one, but newborn son is a screamer, have to update 2 Theme Apps in the Market, worked last on the Pikachu and have to rewrite the complete aroma-config for WhiteRabbit, working and need sleep. Therefore, need some time.

+1, except you missed one important point :)

this is the best looking cm7 rom i've ever seen. seriously, cm7 team needs a good artist to redesign all their icons.........

edit: or is that the adw launcher's fault?

I think since I have my Defy this was the ROM that stayed more time installed xD

Only have 1 problem and I guess is not TweetyPeety fault :)
The problem is in video recording, the m4v file that goes out I can't seem to convert it to nothing, nether posting on youtube, the image and sound just go different ways, not synchronized. Any Idea???

About battery life, see pic below xDD
