The Bravo did that once, only one time in 20+ installs once, have you tried unlocking the phone from the bootanimation? It worked for me. You can unlock the phone before the bootanimation finishes on a normal boot. Also having the "post-boot" loop issue, when the phone does not leave boot animation, but indeed does that vibration (meaning it is not in bootloop) and can turn off screen. I think I'll try Pikachu Edition for now.
Oh, and check the md5 to see if it was a good download if you haven't already.
@JakeOcn Full data wipe and factory reset. You're switching from CM7 to MIUI. I ONLY install roms with Full Wipe to try to minimize any issues that can occur. Only use the cache\dalvik wipe when reinstalling the same rom.
@Tweety NO issues on Bravo at all. Well there is that TB Batch Restore bug, but wiping cache\dalvik fixes that. Occurs with app only and app+data batch restore. I've tested both on different installs. Might be a Defy bug as well.
BTW Defy users, the bug is that options in the settings menu won't stick---at all--until a reboot and cache\dalvik wipe. I first noticed it with Notification Power Widget acting wonky. Rom works perfect with no issues afterwords.
