Hi,

I ve flashed this rom on my xoom 601, everything seems ok for now. But how can I activate 3g functionality?

Is 3g working for anyone?

Did you flashed the EURO XOOM version? I don't think so... Maybe you just flashed the 3G Version which seems not the Everest one.

By the way, same installing issue for me here. No way to flash : Symlinks failed... Installation aborted.

Pls fix that... I'd like to flash Codename but damn, fix that!

OK. I did some research. And I even checked the updater script that flashes the ROM. The script seems fine;
So for error status 7 symlink failed, it is most probably that the downloaded zip is bad or there is check sum error.

For those who were successful flashing this ROM EURO MZ601, share the successful flashed file on dropbox link from your device since the codename site is timing out. And the shared mirror in page 1 is not reliable with the download or bad upload or so...

Then, we try. if it doesn't work, then MR. OP, please try to fix it.

I too tried extracting the contents of the zip and realized that there were few files (app and framework files ) being reported as corrupted. This is mostly related to bad download our the source itself that I downloaded from had a problem. Well have to wait till we get a proper room link.

can you please upload the rom of mz601 umts everest? Error Status 7 code during ROM flash again might be due to checksum error or bad download of the ROM. THX.

Was you using rogue recovery by any chance???? Cause I had nothing but problems with that recovery.... installs just perfect using tiat recovery!

Rouge recovery is no good for me. I used eos and twrp. Again, extending the same request all over again. For those who flashed successfully, upload on drop box plz.

Actually I downloaded this file itself and was trying to flash with TWRP. Not sure but this file could be damaged which inturn must be causing the error. Did you try downloading this file and flashing, may be you can confirm this for us whether it worked out not.

Yup. I downloaded this file from the mirror provided and got the same error during flashing.
However, I just downloaded from codename site as it seems up now. Checked the checksum and it is different although the two files are of the same size.

I will try tonight to flash this new file and see how it goes.

Still playing with this ROM. The amount of options and customization within are massive and great from initial testing, I can tell it has great battery consumption saving-wise. in about 7 min or more with wifi on, 1 percent drop
However, there is this built in File Manager that is not working. No big deal. Just remove it thru titanium. Will report my findings as I go deeper.

Will upload the ROM and GAPPs for MZ601 EURO version on dropbox tonight. Just hold on as I have slow internet connection where I am now.
