Becareful while flashing TWRP and dont flash wrong imgs. Go to this Github page for flashing instructions. Once again flash twrp.
To boot into TWRP you must use the below command and button combinations will take you to Fastboot mode only.

4. RIL straight away did not work (we have to see if all AOSP based ROMS have this issue).

Jio calls & sms won't work because of no VoLTE. Achieving VoLTE in custom ROMs in MediaTek phones is near impossible because Mediatek is closed source
For JioCall app, report on play store. I too am a Jio user. Can't use this rom

Sir, jio sim in not working, only data is working, sms and calls are not working even after installing jiocall app. It just says your device is already volte, use your default dialer.

You can fix that error.
Use any file manager and delete ".JioCall" and "JioCall files (something)" folders from Internal Storage. Then clear data of JioCall app. It will start working then.
This feature is not there in Lineage OS. Google has added it in Android 11

Yes it is available. Search in Internet for working Gcams in Realme 1.
You can use Jio SIm with Jio4gVoice. There is some workaround for it to work. We will share that one soon.
