omg omg i just followed you. from lineage thread > i asked about you for navigation bar but you didnt reply my comment >then after i asked you about game resolution (8 ball pool) you replied me> thanks for that> during this discussion i read few comments about crdroid > lag issues > even i have that issue> then i tried gr8nole kernal > i got boot loop> suddenly tried this rom... this is far better than that.. every thing is good.. but i am getting lag during operating chrome..than SHAREit Hotspot.. still newly installed os.. so m finding my problems and one more problem magisk cant bypass safety test..

When I don't answer you it's just that I don't have any answer (or time), and neither any other forums' user probably has, unfortunately.

I am deeply sorry you got all theses troubles. As stated in OP, one should keep in mind my builds might not be as stables as gr8nole ones.

any body getting screenshot issue.. i cant able to take.. ss.. it says taking screenshot is not allowed by the app or organization....and phone call is also not working...

Regarding Oreo, I am not working on it simply because I don't have the skills of developers like gr8nole.

Indeed, I use his sources with latest ROM sources and build, that's only it I would say.

My skills are limited to HTML. Did bought very recently a few books about various coding languages, but by the time I make noticeable improvements Android will probably be already at letter Z ...

To conclude, no idea if someone will be able to bring up Oreo to our tabs (let's hope so), but as long as it's possible to do it I will try to share with you Nougat builds based on gr8nole's work and respective ROM updates.

I just installed crDroid (last image, clean install) on my TM310 as since the last Lineage-Update, I had severe Video-Issues when watching YT, or streaming from my local DLNA-Server (YT was running on lowest of qualities, VLC buffered all the time).

a) I like crDroid. Very fast. Thanks to gr8nole and cuberio1

b) I encountered the "install gapps after first reboot"-issue with the last available image... (just mentioning it, workaround fixed it for me, too)

c) unfortunatly, still video-issues.
I don't mind YT, but not being able to watch videos from my DLNA is kinda annoying.
Unfortunatly, there's no log-file or error-message, VLC just buffers. Problem occured when I installed the 20171202-image (installed due to WLAN-interruptions)... Everything works fine except video-playback.

...did anyone encounter similar issues? (is it an image- or rather an app-issue? (though i don't recall VLC getting an update latelty)

First of all many thanks to our dev @cuberio1 to keep T31x alive! :good:
Just dirty flashed crDroidAndroid-7.1.2-20180118-lt013g-v3.8.5.zip over 20171220 build > rebooted > system running just fine! So simple!
All features (such as Magisk v15.3 + Viper4Android FX module, Substratum theme, Google Assistant) on older version retained in system and it works as it should be, without re-installed!

Added Security patch level of January 5, 2018 making old (or obsolete ?) T311 tablet most secured N device on planet! :good:

Right upon you flashed ROM successfully, you must flash gapps. Otherwise you face that problem!

Yep, seems to be a known issue coming back from time to time. Had the same trouble as you with very last build (T310 on fresh install w/ open gapps pico).

Here is one solution nabril15 gave recently :

"Bypass the setup wizard error (fc) by taping the 4 corners of your device in a clockwise fashion. I don't remember which corner to start in, but try all 4. After that, you can set up the wifi and the rest"

I read somewhere one should start with top left corner.

The other way is to slide down status bar menu and go in settings, configure WiFi and so on, and then you're good.

On my side I face the problem if I flash gapps right away after rom. But no problem at all after following these steps :

- flash ROM in TWRP

- boot device

- go back to TWRP

- flash gapps

- boot device

Then ; settings - accounts and google account for adding it... This way I did not get any trouble with setup screen, as it would not show up.

Starting at the leftmost corner, tap all 4 corners in a clockwise pattern. That will get you past that. You can then go in and select wfi and etc

February security patch has been implemented by Lineage 2 days ago. Building right now crDroid, will upload T311 & T315 in a few hours
T310 is already here

Just updated T311 by simply flashing:
crDroidAndroid-7.1.2-20180215-lt013g-v3.8.5.zip over 20180118 > updated Magisk 15.3 to Magisk [BETA] 15.4 (1540) > reboot > system running just fine!
All user apps among others, Google Assistant, Substratum, Xpsosed and Magisk Module (Viper4Android) retained on new system and work as it should be! :good: No issue with sound!

By added February 5, 2018 security patch, our tablet became most secured Nougat tablet (old) on planet!

I know that this rom has been dirty flashed in the past, but I ask if we can continue to do that (dirty flash without flashing gapps)?

Also, does the oc kernel still break wifi? If i flash the oc kernel and wifi breaks, how can I restore the kernel? Do I have to dirty flash the rom again?
