OpenGapps



First time installing crDroid to your nexus 6, or coming from another ROM:
- Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
- Copy GApps and crDroid zip to your internal SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Wipe system,dalvik,data and cache
- Flash crDroid zip
- Flash GApps zip
- DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET
- Reboot


Don't expect any support if you:
- are not running stock crDroid-kernel
- have installed any mods such Xposed!
- have modified system files

Likewise. And for those in the States, you may experience the cyanogen 12 lack of data issue on VZW. Please report back on your experience.

Has it been pretty stable in your testing?

Very stable.. I haven't had a single fc or reboot. I'm running lean kernel now and it's even faster with lean. All sensors and apps work as far as I could tell from my testing gps is spot on. Etc.

This was a great rom on oneplus one, gonna backup apps and give it a whirl now

Hey I found a bug. If you change the dpi the camera will crash non stop. I did it both times on a clean flash.

What are you changing to ??? Use multiples of 80 if stock is 560 use 480 and it should be OK

I tried 493 and also 500. So I could set it back to stock at 560 and it should work?

You may have to wipe data on camera after but yes

I don't think this is a bug! We have DPI changer inside???

Such thing is well know for breaking many apps

Okay I did a clean flash, left the dpi alone, and removed some of the system apps(i.e. browser, eleven, etc) and I'm still getting FCs on the camera. What can I provide to help?

EDIT
I just flashed elementalx and the camera started working again. Could it be the stock kernel giving me issues?
