So ... has anyone had a chance to actually try this rom yet?

Anyone?

It would be funny if this was just a prank and there was no new version coming out ....

I know that isn't the case, and I'm as eager as anyone to try Resurrection out, but it would be pretty funny.

I don't know about "pure evil" but the idea does seem less funny the longer I actually wait for this rom to appear ... I saw the thread for it this morning and it is now evening without a working link ... Again I must ask: did anyone manage to get it and test it before the link went down?

One poster here reported issues with the downloaded rom--he couldn't get it to run--and I've heard from another who also had serious problems with the aroma installer. I'm afraid we might be in for an even longer wait.

Tablet mode in nav bar is really hard to implement. I will look at it on the next version. For now you can change the dpi to 240 to get simi tablet mode or 219 to tablet mode.

I love navbar in tablet mode and willing to wait for it.
Thank u so much for trying to implement in the next version.. well done Sir!!

This seems to be a nice project.
Before flash need to verify some details.

Does this rom contain all stock apps such as S-Memo, S-Planner, FM Radio etc.

In case if i need to revert back to JB ROM (XXLSA Odin or XXLSC CWM) how can i do that.

Regards,:good:

It's based heavily on CM10/AOKP roms.
Basically it is a custom built compilation of every good feature to come out of CM10/AOKP and various other roms which are not those two.
If you need to revert back to a stock JB rom (why I wonder would anyone, ever, need to do that) all you have to do is just make sure you're using Hydracore (maxfu or the normal one either way) then flash the JB rom like you normally would.
Basically treat this rom like it's CM10. Just a really, really epic version.

hello .. i have been trying cm based roms for like a week .. tried jellybam , slim bean , unofficial cm10.1 and official cm10.1 night.

and actually i dont feel any difference in performance it's all about statusbar and lock screen theming , can you tell me the difference please , i also tried blackcna 2.1 longtime ago and faced a severe memory leakage

I've tried most of the new jb leaks as well as CM10 and a few others. There is definitely a difference in some of them, while some others may be roughly the same.

Strictly in terms of UI speed--how fast things open or close--I'd say the fastest is Asylum 10.1, with the original BlackCNA a close second.

If you are looking only at the latest TW JB leaks, then Alliance is the fastest.

If you are talking about pure speed for gaming, then original BlackCNA still wins. It's not even close.

These are just my subjective impressions--your mileage may very.

EDIT: First installation reported "bad rom"--recopied zip and put it in internal rather than external storage and it installed just fine. No problems so far. Scrolling is definitely faster than original BlackCNA but opening seems slightly slower. EDIT: Actually opening up the gallery is LIGHTNING fast, and pictures scroll by at mach speed as well. Haven't tweaked anything or removed any bloatware yet though. Still on default kernel.

I've seen no talk about gapps in this thread? What gapps download are people using?

For what is worth I'll offer up a slightly more detailed response later, including thoughts on gaming performance.

So far so good!

EDIT: Switched to Maxfu kernel as cuba suggests below--forget about what I said above about opening/closing seeming slightly slower than og BlackCNA. EVERYTHING related to the UI is now very fast, as fast as I could want it to be. Text input--lighting fast! Even just opening up the Play Store/logging in is much much faster than anything I've seen before!

FAST FAST FAST!

You did it, wesamothman! BlackCNA lives again.
