Could anyone tell me if the CM10.1 is compatible with AllShare CAST DONGLE? I bought one and it is the only thing that prevents me from using my cm10.1 GALAXY NOTE N7100 II.

I always do a full wipe. I can play the videos I record with the phone but when I place a .avi, .mp4 or .mkv on the external sd it says "Unable to read the video (or the file, I don't remember) ".

I have the same problem. did fix permissions help you? I cant play any video that was on my sd card.

Just a suggestion that might help, if you have not already tried? you could try using a different Video Player.

Is there any additional fix or something like a script to reset the screen after taking pictures with the front camera everytime? As you all know when you take a photo with the front camera the photo gets stuck on the screen but still works, so you have to blind-take the other photos or switch either the resolution or cameras after every single shot and it is frustrating.

I recently installed CyanogenMod and currently liking it over stock. Just wanted to ask if there is a power saver mode that was available in touchwiz. Although my battery seems to be keeping up amazingly. Just wanted to make sure I am not in power saving mode when playing (if there is).

I'm not talking about volume when calling..etc

It's an unacceptable bug where every thing you say to the mic sounds distorted, i tried every CM based Rom, and every kernel there is.

Nothing worked... !! help ?? if there's any.. ?

Yes. And no one seems to care about it as it's a low priority bug .. while you basically don't have a phone as long as this issue continues.

Sad thing is there's no stable CyanogenMod for the Note 2 !

and these Roms no matter what they are.. are all useless to a regular phone user when mic is corrupted.

Does the stock Trebuchet launcher still offer customized settings for the launcher, without the need for Nova or Apex ? Last time I ran CM10 Nightlies was on my One X, it was 4.1 and it offered me the setting to change the grid size, and resize any widget. Is that still a standard feature on CM10.1 ? I much prefer to just run the stock CM10 trebuchet launcher instead of needing Nova.

That said, unfortunately Trebuchet leaves a lot of empty space around a maximized widget, while Apex and Nova do use all the real screen estate (and that's the only reason why I use them).

and the sound quality of the external speaker? stopped using CM a few nightly's ago because of the terrible sound quality, low volume and terrible distortion.
