Re: [ROM] CyanogenMod 10.1 [OFFICIAL]

Oh ok, I didn't realize they hadn't released an experimental 4.2.2 build yet. She's rather new to android, so I want to keep her on something as stable as possible. How's the newest nightly running?
It's a Nexus. That means we have all the proprietary drivers and stuff, so a nightly will be about as stable as stock.

Oh, fantastic. Sorry for the newbie questions, I'm new to the nexus lines (I have a MotoX2, unfortunately). Is it safe to flash the newest nightly over the experimental build and just wipe dalvik/cache? Or do I have to do a full factory reset since it would be moving from 4.2.1 to 4.2.2?

Just flash new nightly. No need to wipe dalvik/cache or wipe system or factory reset.

New Gapps

Hi,

i have GNex Maguro with nightly from 02-03-2013 (have installed CM10.1 with Gapps from 12-12-2012)

My question is if i have to install new Gapps from 01-03-2013 for future CM nightly updates, or is not necessary??

Regards

I tried to install CM 10.1 on my tilapia last night, but after the flash, the device just gets stuck at the boot animation. I've tried reflashing with no luck. This is the first ROM I've tried on the N7. Can anyone think of anything I may be forgetting to do?

Edit: Nevermind. I thought the data wipe that was done in the rooting process could take the place of a factory data wipe. That's all I had to do.

Hi! I had this problem too. Don't know what was the case but installing a newer version of recovery (CWM or TWRP) helped me in this.

Seems like the android OS is sucking up the most of the battery, any idea what's wrong? Anyone else having the same problem?

On the 03-06 nightly and I can't seem to get the cLock widget to display temperature in Fahrenheit. "use metric" is not ticked. Any suggestions?
