Re: [ROM] CyanogenMod 10.1 [OFFICIAL]

Hi Everyone,

Can I request some inputs?

Can someone tell me if the Display rotation is working well on official latest build?
Actually, there are two options to enable auto rotate, one is under device-display-rotate. The other one is in interface-launcher-general-auto rotate screen.

I found that the second one under launcher must be enabled so the rotation works. It also enables the first option and this is the one which is controlled by the shortcut on the quick settings panel.

Hope it works.

Found & resolved my issue.

There are some proprietary blobs since the merged 4.2.2 which aren't available in the usual github site which I synced.

Now i got all the proprietary blobs & everything back to normal, including rotation.

Hold the on/off button until your N7 goes completely off -- this may take like 10 seconds or more. Then hold the volume down button and the on/off button at the same time until you get to bootloader screen (takes a few seconds). From there, you should be able to scroll thru the options to select recovery with the volume up / down switch. Then, once you are on recovery option, hit the on/off button to actually boot into recovery.

Are you using the AT&T prepaid plan? I find that it doesn't always connect right away after switching from wifi or whatever, or it will look like it's connected but won't load data. But, i've seen this on the stock ROM as well.

No, I'm in Germany and just asking because I've flashed M kernel and now facing data drops, so I wondered if this is maybe CM related or not...

This is M kernel issue. Metallice (the kernel developer) is aware of it, and is trying to fix it.
Currently, I suggest flashing his latest version a44. At least, I'm not experiencing the problem with it..

For a short time it seemed to be a CM related issue, as no others were complaining. But true, seems to be solved with a44!

So I searched the thread and couldn't find anything related to this, but is anyone having Bluetooth pairing issues? When I try to pair the 7 to my car with the latest CM (only CM I have tried) it will pair the first time (though instead of using the code my car presents, the pairing forces a different code that the car must accept, which it does), but then when I turn the car on again the pairing fails because the code isn't working. I suspect that if the pairing had used the code the car wanted instead of presenting its own, it wouldn't be an issue. It also seems to only do it with my car (Ford Edge with the My Ford Touch Sync system). The car only does this with the 7 though, if I pair my phone (stock ROM S3), the S3 uses the code the car presents.

This is the first time the N7 has ever does this to me, and only after installing CM10.1. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Re: [ROM] CyanogenMod 10.1 [OFFICIAL]

hi boys, hi girls..

I flashed the last nightly into my Nexus 7 3G but I cannot find the SMS/MMS application.. I flashed once again to see if something went wrong but it seems that the apps really doesn't exist..
is it normal?

thanks a lot!! ;)
Its not supported, there are a lot of discussions about this topic and you can get MMS.apk via the forums, as of now it requires some tweaking I believe.
