U can actually try my unofficial build. I've only added what I've submited officially to cm gerrit, nothing more.

Yes, in my build you will have Mms.apk which is working well. Send/receive sms np. This Mms.apk is from cm source, not from stock rom.

Hey there.. Anyone got any idea why dsp manager doesn't work? Sound is the same no matter what i change..

Also.. I cannot install asphalt 7 from the market... I get an unknown error.. Unknown error code during install "-24"
This error happens when i try to install any paid app...

very cool, which plans are people using to get sms then? or i should say what plans seem to be popular. I own the 32 gb wifi model, but i want the 3g model so i can use it on the go, and tether occasionally if needed at work (not allowed to use wifi on personal tech).

But if it could eventually turn into a phone that would be amazing as well, with the current progress on getting it to make calls.

Ive heard Straight talk works, but the ATT version works better than the tmobile?

Any one have thoughts or ideas?

I have the same problem, and the button for the main menu is also disappeared. 3 days waiting for the new update and hope someone will fix this.

Official build failed because of a missing overlay commit. Should be good in next build including tethering.

We are in good hands with nemith and fattire. I got the N7 because fattire was going to be maintaining it. Nemith is handling the tilapia specific stuff.

I don't think either of them will be too active in the forum, but anything temask puts together will be given a more than fair look.

Is there anyone who uses the Picasa sync-enabled Gallery2.apk in the recent nightlies? I just tried installing using both methods above and the Gallery app just disappears (i.e. not installed). I've checked the checksums of the APK in /system/app and I'm pretty sure I copied over the right file. After I do this, even copying back the original APK file wouldn't bring back the app, I had to reflash the whole gapps zip in recovery.

I've checked the checksums of the APK in /system/app and I'm pretty sure I copied over the right file. After I do this, even copying back the original APK file wouldn't bring back the app, I had to reflash the whole gapps zip in recovery.

I downloaded zip, pushed it to my N7's embedded memory with adb, entered recovery, created nandroid backup (essential while tinkering), flashed zip and rebooted. Gallery works flawlessly, shows all files in embedded memory and on Picasa (just had to tick Google Photos sync in sync settings). Maybe you should try clearing data of Gallery app (I didn't do that, but it may help).

OK, this is weird. After restoring the gapps zip bundle, I thought I'd be back to the original Gallery with no Picasa Sync. But when I opened Gallery, lo and behold, I can see all my Picasa albums.

My steps:

1. Installed replacement Gallery2.apk using adb push. Result: Gallery app disappears from menu.
2. Tried installing replacement Gallery app using zip in recovery instead. Result: Still no Gallery app.
3. Tried copying the original Gallery2.apk back into /system/app. Result: still no Gallery app.
4. Gave up and installed gapps zip from recovery. Result: Gallery app appears and somehow Picasa sync works.

Really not sure what happened now. Or does the stock gapps Gallery2.apk work with Picasa sync as of recent nightlies? I'm using 20121226.

Just finished my flash about an hour ago, very happy I was able to connect again to my data provider , every thing went off without a hitch "great build" , looking at re-entering all my info/data ' did back it up to my PC before I flashed but gives me more of a reason to explore and play .
