Need Help ......

Smokerman pls help me out . i download fival v3 version of cm12.1 . i tried to flash it through the recovery which u gave in link . but when i was installing it got stuck on "patching system image unconditionally" . i waited 1 hour but i was still stuck . i checked md5 sum of downloaded files it matched the sum of files in your download link so downloaded files were not currupted . so then what is the problem . ???. my phone is Micromax Canvas 2 Colors 4 gb rom . and previously i was on stock kitkat . pls help me solve this issue . your help would be very much appreciated .

You should flash Wiko KitKat base ROM first using SPFT. The link is in page 1.

But i flashed cyanogen rom by pacman just by using cm12 recovery and flashed it over stock kitkat and i got installed .. But when i try to flash this rom over stock kitkat . i face the issue which i mentioned earlier .. Help me how to overcome the issue .

Note that custom cm12 ROMs work with my TWRP but this cm12 you NEED to flash this recovery and change meta-inf as i explain..

I downloaded the recovery u mentioned in the blog and flashed it using flashify . i also made the changes in the rom for a120 users but still it is stopping in patching system unconditionally ..

Pls clearify the steps for patch of a120 users . i am not able to understand the steps u mentioned in your blog . . pls help me out . i would be really thankfull to you ..

Since i didn't saw this info on the thread ...


On Single-SIM (when using only one SIM slot) :

• You can toggle between 2G / 3G just fine
• Data connection will work just fine

But:

when in Single-SIM and to avoid bugs with Data connection, and other Network Related issues
Change this line in build.prop (/system):

persist.radio.multisim.config=dsds

to

[B]#[/B]persist.radio.multisim.config=dsds

This will persist (enforced) your phone into full Single-SIM Mode.

Beforer i hoped it solve the problem but no
after install from cm-12.1-20160107-UNOFFICIAL-rainbow all works fine but my sim card is not found and embedded correctly.

In Options-->Over my phone i see imei and imei v but no number and no base.

3 times i make install.

Provider is medion mobile (E-Plus)

What can i do that sim card embedded correctly in phone

You can flash Phil's recovery via sp flash tool..
Or via mobile uncle tools(an app from play store) but you should need to root the phone. You can use kingroot for that...

Unfortunately it only works for Wiko Rainbow and clones (MyPhone Rio,MMX A120,Explay Fresh ,QMobile i9,BLU Studio 5.0 C HD). You'll have some porting to do to make it work.
