No, you have to wipe before install. Also there is LineageOS 14, with a newer Android version. Try it if you decide to install a ROM
I read that some apps don't work with 14. Do you know if this is true? I'm looking for CM 13 right now. Was downloading Gapps mini and it stopped after 200mbs.. Don't know if it's the link or what.
Anything that doesn't work in 14.1 probably isn't worth using anymore. Seriously, this version is very out of date with some large security holes and lower performance. You will get zero support from the community on it

Just curious if you can help. ..running cm14.1 and not having many issues but I've been trying to update to lineage 14.1 but no matter what I try, it doesnt work. I cannot find anywhere an official rom. Ive tried running the latest builds but without any success. Any information or a link that actually works. I've tried clean and dirty installs. Messing with the first line in the manifest file or something like that. I'm on overload and need a break lol Anything would be appreciated.

You should be suing the kltedv build for that device I believe. You've tried a clean flash from https://download.lineageos.org/kltedv?
Cyanogen is no longer, it's now lineage OS. If you're trying to find a cm14 it will be incredibly out of date

I've tried thos ROMS but they just fail using latest twrp. Ive tried flashing using new and older version 2.7 something works best for me. I know cm is dead thats why I want to change. I've tried posting pics but it wont let me. Ok so one says klte and one reply says kltedv. Ive read somewhere that kltespr is updated with kltedv so which one exactly?

I'm basing which version you should use based on the lineage website (which clearly lists the p variant under dv).
Maybe try posting in the lineage 14 thread since nobody checks here anymore and I'm not sure I can help further

I appreciate the fine work everyone does here. I realize these posts are quite old but the phones the ROM is for still exist and could be quite usable so I was just wondering why the links are dead. I click the links and they go to a 404 page.
Is there a way I could get this ROM in a tar so I could use ODIN3 because of reactivation lock. Also I would need the samsung set up wizards to be non existent because that's where things go wrong when i flash the phones.
I'm not trying to get off topic but i need explain my situation. I am attempting to refurbish two samsung galaxy S5's (one is SM-G900A and the other SM-G900T) because i thought it would be an interesting experience and wanted to see if i could do it. The phones were previously owned but not by me and they were donated to me in addition to various other android phones i hope to upgrade or downgrade if need be.
Due to samsung reactivation lock i need to flash a rom by way of ODIN3 and it would only work if the set up wizard is non existent. i know using kitkat i can turn off the reactivation and i tried the package disabler but the packages turn back on when i flash a new ROM onto the phone. I tried titanium backup in the hopes it would keep the samsung firmware turned off even if i flash a new rom but it didn't work. maybe i didn't fully understand how to keep settings between ROMs. anyway the sm-g900a i have has become i guess a soft brick now. ODIN3 couldn't install anything to it. Kies couldn't even detect it. That one is probably just going to get e-cycled. now i am trying my luck with sm-g900T and once again unable to get anywhere because of reactivation lock. I have it in download mode but need an ODIN3 version. Thank you for any help you can provide!

Although the klte builds will be identical to the CM nightlies so this is really just for those who have a variant that has not yet been enabled for nightlies on CMs build server. As with any nightly these are UNTESTED and USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. DO NOT REPORT BUGS FROM A NIGHTLY. I can't stress this enough. * set up my buildbox to do a nightly build (well early morning) for all devices but it is mainly for the devices that i work on that are not built by CM yet. so as of this writing that would be kltedv,klteusc and kltespr. If you aren't an owner of one of these devices the klte build is identical to CM's so really no reason to use it. but feel free if you like as it is in the list for builds to be done...

I will continue to build for kltespr,klteusc, and kltedv until they are enabled on CM. and you can still use this thread to report bugs as nothing is changing regarding whos developing and with what. just where the builds are downloaded from. If a bug ends up popping up down the road this thread would be the place to check for a fix before it gets merged to CM (sometimes they take a long time). * Fixed up newly required permissions for sensors and got everything working correctly with lollipop libs. No hacked driver in kernel to get old sensor HAL to load, nothing. 100% LP sources now (how Ethan intended). Battery life should be improved as well as other things

** Sorry for the delay there were some issues with the hardware in the buildbox not playing nice... all fixed now **

Hardware Specs
Configuration:
Ubuntu 15.10 x64
OC'd to 4.2Ghtz
2 SSDs in RAID 0 as rootdir and the conventional for stroage37
Two things to be clear:
Kernel auditor is not a legit app to configure my kernel and never will.
Either you use my app that comes from me or you need to use other kernels.
Second: my kernel is labeled alpha for a good reason. I build from cm13 sources (and this will not change) and as long as cm13 is not yet out officially, issues are expected and accepted by me, reflecting the intentional alpha status.
What sucks are users that silently ignore these facts.
Andi36new klte build posted... kltespr klteusc and kltedv are compiling as i type and will be up for download as they complete.
