I was wondering if anyone had tried moving @jgcaap's libc, art, and kernel to OOS/Freedom OS. I'd to see if that gives significant advantage over stock.

I know I could just try it, but I'd someone already has, I'd like to know what happened.

I got it and now that OB12 is out @uudruid74 can you add those files on a flashable zip to test how it performs with the new OB12?
Hmm... Will these builds run on a 3T? I'm guessing the kernel wont. Anyone port jgcaap's kernel to 3T hardware? I'm also wondering if there are compiler optimizations available to specifically take advantage of the 821? Maybe a better instruction ordering, new features, cache sizes, etc.

I haven't tried OB12 yet. My schedule is really full and I wanted to do some other stuff first... Mainly turn on overlayfs in the kernel. Not sure what compiler will be best for OP3T... And at that point, I may just compile the libs and tools from source rather than stealing out of the ROM.

And what governor is everyone using? I used to use the blu_active (I think that's the name) but it may have fallen out of favor. Wants it! The precious! WANTS IT!

FYI - Now running OB3 (it's OB12 for OP3, OB3 for OP3T ... too many letters!). I may nandroid /system and stick a few libs on the device and see if I can brick it :)
