I have the original radio that comes with cm7.1 stable and i use this fix file since i used the nightlies. And allways worked!

FYI:

Apart from the server URL all settings in the so called "GPS fix" update are bogus.

Believe me, I know the code of our GPS library quite well and those settings either don't exist or don't do anything useful at all.

Hey guys. I have a problem with Wifi reception, its showing incorrect signal strength. When I stand right next to the wifi router (less than 1 meter away) I only get one dash on the signal strength icon in the status bar. I am sure the problem is not with the router because I have tried this with other routers and other phones.

Any ideas?

before the fix i didnt get a single satillite in "GPS Test" (market)

well i used the gpsfix2 and used faster fix from the market right after to set the location to germany

on first try GPS instantely locked when i used "GPS Test" but there were no satillites locked at all and the accuracy was at like 4km, i turned off GPS again and then it worked

I have the Problem that the video records arent smooth :-( I have found something about the media_profiles.xml, but i dont know if the file realy set the settings for the cam.apk, or if the settings are set in the source code...? When ive edit the xml file, the phone doesent boot anymore and i had to flash the complete rom again. It would be very nice if somebody know how i can get a lower resolution and for this no lags on recording...

what do u mean when u say "replacing ur display and touch"

Signal/Battery strength is in the eye of the beholder.
Did you really think that CM7.1 lowers your signal or battery strenght levels?
Please know that there is no standard to judge or ascertain a true value.

This rom is great.I updated from official froyo and my phone is like a man that lost weight overnight and can now run 100 meters I cant understand how htc could bloat a OS like it was begore,this rom is truly a salvation for the little 600mhz cpu of legend .

overclocking a mobile device doesnt seem a good idea to me, too much heat and battery loss for something that is barely noticeable

Well its not barely noticable because in some apps like Igo it runs just smoother. And for me the battery drain doesnt really matter but i get enough for 2 days of usage so its ok. And also new games and live wallpapers are more enjoyable.

For me oc'ing just hasnt got any downside

I'm using v7.13.35.13 but I have signal issues quite often..
I don't know if it matters, but I'm using my legend in Poland with a local operator: Play.

I sucefully changed my "baseband" to 47.54.35.20U_7.13.35.13 and wireless is working fine, got gps fix after 20 seconds near office window/huh cloudy and windy in sofia today/

Does anyone else have extensive Force Close or Wait prompts doing stupid simple stuff like Phoneweaver, Twitter, Maps, Whatsapp. Happens frequently. Tapping Wait and waiting a bit makes it works though. So it's a real crash actually but massively annoying.

Using S2E for apps2sd and data2sd.
I have wiped everything and related several times without any luck. The apps mostly work ok if I click wait. It doesn't happen always.

I'm having phone apk force closes on normal internal storage tho

check if your sd card speeds are oke, maybe got damaged

and why in gods name are you using apps2sd and data2sd at the same time??
