okay, one question. why is there no market app on this? is it because i wiped as i said?

u need to instal gaps patch for google apps (market, account)
u can find it in rom manager or here

OK here is my first report

It's much much stable now.
Not getting all the FC's which I was getting in 1.5
smooth interface
I had huge issues with my contacts earlier which is now sorted

Issue:
Camera is giving FC's sometimes.

is camera record 720p, is that any call recording thing added or can be added?
is that any issue with wifi connectivity ?

Anyone else with battery drain?

Yesterday on standby with wifi ON I got without battery in a few hours.

Today, less then 3 hours on battery, 70% still left. On battery use, "Android OS" is responsible for 60% of the consumption. On previous nightly that didnt happen.

Anyone else with that issue?

yeah, i dont hear anything when im on a call and the other person cant hear me either. plus no 720p, the phone doesnt boot past the bootscreen if you add the 720p update. plus, the wifi doesnt work too well. sad, cause i really like the other stuff. ill have to go back to motoginger then :/

Guys with many x-files FC's.

Always do a reboot and wipe cache & wipe dalvik when flashing/updating is ready, before you start to use new rom. (Yes after first succes booting the new rom).
It is basic role for stable using!!!

Read first post. You find gapps there with google apps. CM contains only AOSP!

Still too many issues, back to CMiuI, need network band to work, cant change the keyboard to ultra keyboard and a couple more other issues like spb shell 3d i way to slow, etc, etc

These are individual issues not common. You can go back if you can't find what you do wrong. Free world

You have to flash full froyo sbf (for ex. with rsd lite)

I came straight from defy + rom. All I did was wipe data, cache and dalvick cache. Then flash zip in recovery. I have great battery life so far.

The zip has boot.image and dev tree so no need for froyo sbf. However, I know going back to defy+ I will have to flash gingerbread fixed sbf.

2 minor little bug founds:
- after reboot, battery usage statistic is RESET itself
- wifi indicator: turn on wifi > reboot > wifi indicator is wrong (low signal). re-connect wifi would solves the problem.

It has been reported that cm7 works using 4.5.3-109 defy+ gb rom as base.
Ive tried it on cm 7.1.0 as well and it worked like it would on froyo rom.

So, i have a few questions:
1) Can 720p recording be ported for the red lens defy?
2) Is it possible to get different brightness setting for the touch buttons?
Right now on cm7 the button backlight is dull like on froyo. Would it be possible to add the bright setting as on the gb roms? the brightness be scaled according to the sensor maybe?

Guys, on my Defy the built-in ADW launcher is terribly slow but many other user post on different forum this launcher is smooth and fast like the LP.
Whats the truth? Somethings wrong with my phone?

People having random problems should maintain the calm and redo all the steps ... even cleang the data and flash original SBF again.

(Restore apps + data with Titanium or App Monster could bring FCs. UOTs with old versions Framework-res.apk also. Pay attention and you'll be fine).

This baby runs smoothly as silk, i guarantee !!!
