I'm sure this has been mentioned at least once per page for the entire thread, but for now... Yes, it is possible. I haven't wiped in weeks. CM upgrades usually go smoothly without wipes.

I vote that we ignore the repetitive questions and put a disclaimer that reads something like, "If your question gets ignore that means it's been answered at least 1,000 times - do some research!"

How do you use the exchange? I love your roms, but do not see an exchange option on the phone like on the Rogers version. I downloaded the mail.apk that gives exchange support, but does not sync calendar, please advise.

I would and flash Cyanogen's 1.3.1 (Pimped Out Recovery Image on the 1st page) - it's phenomenal.

I have it already. I am just so comfrotable with jf's builds. That i havent flashed a new rom in months. My phone is performing incredible. I am just getting a little bored with it. So i figured i'll flash cyan 3.6.6. this week. then take the plunge with the danger spl and flash jacheroski next week.

Dude, the mail.apk work email apk works with exchange email. I just wish it would work with the exchange calendar. I can live without contacts, but the calendar would be nice.

Loving the CM ROM, that being said, I am having a few issues. I'm having FC issues with the camcorder, but I don't use it much. Still having issues with the HTC on screen keyboard settings taking over the physical keyboard settings. Right hand shift and alt key not working when that happens and the auto caps correct feature stops working as well. Its rather annoying at times. I prefer the HTC version over the google on screen keyboard, its more accurate and easy to use. But it conflicts with the physical keyboard when settings are concerned, it treats the physical keyboard as the on screen version. As opposed to the original one, that kindly gets out of the way when you slide the phone open. The keyboard doesn't stay on the screen, but if you have the HTC word suggestion on, the HTC suggestion bubble will pop up at the bottom of the screen while typing on the physical keys, I don't have suggestion on for the physical keyboard. Its funny how it happens. Sometimes I will be a few words in typing and then the HTC kicks in, other times in the browser, it will start fine unless I scroll the page then need to tap the text field again to finish typing. Had this problem with 3.6.5 also. I guess the HTC version was never meant for devices with a physical keyboard. Some tweaks may be needed.

Just got a report from my GF that her bluetooth is not working properly. She has a car with the built in touch screen GPS and bluetooth. She can pair her phone to the car, and can use the screen to start a call, but there is no sound on both ends of the call. Same if someone calls her, it will ring in the car but no audio during a call. It worked fine before her phone was rooted. If I can't get it to work, I will need to go to another ROM or the official build on her phone. Its a big deal for her for it not to work.

For the camera FC issues jsut download old camera.apk from 3.6.5 and do this, put it on your sdcard

su
mount -o rw,remount -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock3 /system
cd sdcard
cp Camera.apk /system/app
reboot

Can I replace the Camera.apk in the update.zip before flashing

For the camera FC issues jsut download old camera.apk from 3.6.5 and do this, put it on your sdcard

su
mount -o rw,remount -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock3 /system
cd sdcard
cp Camera.apk /system/app
reboot

Can I not just copy the Camera.apk file into the new update.zip file and then flash?

Not worried about the camcorder, the still camera works fine, but I would like to put the audio resources back into system/media. Would that remount command allow me to move the files from my sd card to the /system/media directory? I tried before but I don't think I typed with proper parameters.

That would be nice.

Now if we can figure out the keyboard problem I mentioned, and the bluetooth thing.

Yes, that remount should work for that.

I'd like the same.. im a 1 or 2 homescreen kinda guy. Figured the draw was for apps..

Thats what themes are for. to customize, customize, customize.

The problem with the Exchange support in the Sapphire Mail app is that it requires the entire custom HTC version of the core Android framework. The same goes for the HTC Dialer. I'd rather keep the open-source version, since the source code changes that HTC has made to the core are not publicly available.

what do you mean by the camera button force closes, like to take a picture?

Just click the trackball instead of the camera button in the Camera app to take a picture.

Cyan, I love your work. One question though. I cannot get my Bluetooth to work anymore on my BlueAnt since the last three builds. Anyone got any suggestions on how to make it work?
