Got really busy past 2 days. I'll report in few hours what happens. The plan is to wipe everything including internal storage and this time use the micro gapps mentioned below, if that doesnt work i will do without gapps at all and see what happens:good:
Update: No luck, still starring at the android mm animation in both cases

I believe that button in the middle is the network button that shows cellular network settings. In lollipop there was a quick setting which had an icon that read "LTE" only. I would click on it and the phone would immediately turn off LTE andswitch to 3g. Here I click in "edit tiles" and then the plus button in the top right corner to add new tiles, but the LTE is not there. This is the only tile that I remember being in Lollipop and not here.

Before I was able to flash the dkp kernel with this rom, now i can't.
Any idea why?

Because DKP is way outdated. The ROM comes with the latest Linux kernel which is 3.4.111, DKP is 3.4.109. DKP needs updated.
Haven't been on in a few days guys, sorry about missing the sneak peak. However, if you guys grab the latest "WEEKLY" (4/02) you'll get yo see kraken kernel for your self! Enjoy it & give a HUGE thanks to @bthorne79 as jes the mastermind behind the kernel that is KrAkEn! ????????

Hey guys I've been trying trying to get this Rom to work for the longest. I used to be able to flash any Rom and go back and forth in between but i dk what i messed up now. Seems i can't install anything above 4.4.2 on my phone now. Just boot loops. Anyone might know what's the issue?
UPDATE: Got it to work...After so many searches the internet finally guided me to light. I had to get on adb commands while in recovery and convert the persist partition to ext4. then reflash. Time it took to boot this fresh rom? UNDER 1min 30!!! I can sleep at ease now hehe. hope this helps any1 who encounter this.

Gave the build a go, amazing. I love all the hot plugging options in the Kraken kernel :good:
But an issue i have, is the frequencies are always maxed. Im using interactive governor, and i had to tweak the governor so my device wouldn't get so hot.

I haven't had the frequencies max out on me like that, however I've found that the best govs for my useage on d2att are intellimm darkness & nightmare. I'm also using MSM hotplug no additional gov tweaks & it sleeps like a baby! Hope this helps! Enjoy ?

Same here. On Boost Mobile when I dirty flash to get 4G it causes APK installation to have a parsing error. Also the Play Store will not work and I get Play services force closes.

Are you flashing gapps the same time as the rom, or do you let it boot up then go back and flash gapps? Have you tried an older gapps package? The reason why I ask is that I had that error before and was fixed by using an older gapps. I know 100% it is not a faulty rom, but it is possible for a bad download.
Any chance we will see the Kraken kernel in flashable format?
