Yeah try it.
I get errors compiling it so I can't add mods yet.
Once I figure it out I'll add it.
Or when XZ comes out I'll use that one

I wouldn't recommend meesing with google play services if you're not 100% sure that you know what you're doing. It might end (and probably will) with even more draning.

You kind of need Google Play services to get messages etc. It's the backbone of almost all messaging apps.

I would suggest you uninstall updates and let it update itself again. I hear that fixes alot.
Sounds like a wake-lock to me. If it i draining like 15% then try downloading WakeLock Detector from play store and see if you have any wakelocks.

Otherwise try clean install etc etc.
Don't disable play though unless you read up about running android without Google Play Services. It can be done, but it's a pain in the a**

Reboot. Wait for first buzz and green light. Press down volume and light will turn purple.

If it doesn't work see here to get recovery back:

I think what this is talking about is the nougat develpor previews that we already know about and are available on another XDA thread for the z3. I don't think it's saying that the z3 will be getting nougat officially. We already know that won't happen. But we do have developer preview roms that can be modded or adapted. It seems root is impossible on nougat unless you have an unlocked bootloader.

Basically an experimental build of Nougat AOSP is available. No signal etc. Glitchy screens the works. But eventually it might be usable.

That said you definitely need an unlocked bootloader (but our devices are getting old anyway. It's only a matter of time).

That said there's not a huge leap between MM and N

Once XZ is out I'll add the apps that don't need porting.
Then the ones that do I will wait for someone to do it properly and confirm it doesn't kill the phone.
There is now a gap in the hardware so want to be 100% sure Z3 can handle it.

Software for fast flagship on 2 year old slower phone might just kill performance. Got to find some balance

Can't to wrong with Serajr

Installed Native call recording from Serajr and confirm it works on Fragment v3.2, without Exposed. There's nothing in call settings to turn call recording feature on or off. But when call placed the record bar shows up, can choose to record and to stop.

BTW v3.2 clean install works Excellent! Thank you.

I wonder if Wolfbreak or Pandemic could help with optimizing battery consumption, their roms are pretty good optimized. Ivd choose Wolfbreak, as Pandemic has some serious family issues, and probably focusing on this now
