Hey mate, GustavoRD78 has released a new custom kernel and it works fine with fragment so far. Its in the z3 android dev section.

Fix Stamina

Ok after a while time dear @Dobsgw i found a fix for backgroud data with stamina on, i dont know if is necesary to do with all apps, but i tested with whatsapp, the only thing that i did, just i added it to battery optimization, and after unmark.......... with that stamina mode("battery time preferred") works correct,notifications arrive only when i open whatsapp

Finally with z3 System UI without signal gap that you provided me (thanks for that) i have the same problem........ i believe this problem is related with percentage, because with xperia X systemui we have percentage, and with z3 stock not.....then the space that exists is by percentage that doesnt exist in z3 stock.

Backup system, data and boot (the defaults) in TWRP so a full backup.

Then try a dirty flash... Chances are it will have FC issues etc etc but you might get lucky

At least you will get to try the ROM for a bit and decide if you want to do a clean install

Customized my Quicksettings, Statusbar, nova launcher with gestures and a lot more.

So, not an easy decision.

Fragment ROM Version 4.1 Changelog:

-Change location of Soft ChargeUI to Settings - Battery (under stamina) thanks to @kansasboy001 for the settings mod for this
-Remove stamina notification
-Rebuild framework-res.apk with latest APK tool to remove 3 dot menu lag
-Update Album
-Update Music

i dnt know whats wrong...... unlock BL den flash 78Kernel v1 kernel & Fragment rom, when it boot up no sign of tha kernel in kernel version so i reflashed tha kernel (via fastboot & recovery) but when tha phone boots up, it keep restarting!

Okay best way to do it.

Fastboot the kernel and boot straight to recovery

Install Fragment and ota

Boot with the stock kernel

Go to SuperSU and use the full unroot option from settings
If it doesn't work just close and open SU and start again and it will work second time

Boot to recovery with the normal method of volume down

Flash the custom kernel

(Clean wipe if you want / not booting)
Reboot and you should be good to go

Custom kernels can be meh on first boot, but advanced and 78kernel should work 100%

Then you can root with systemless SU which I recommend

Which app is it still there? Is your animations set to x1 speed in developer options?

I checked on XDA Labs and the lag was 100% gone

Pretty much every one, except those that uses some different kind of Animation (slide from top to bottom, instead of a combination of that and from right to left) which os not affected

Thank God you got rid of the stamina mode symbol. Only previous fix was from xposed downloads and it just rinsed my battery so am well pleased its gone.

And thanks again for your work. Hope you're essays got done, on time, with top marks!
