Hello.. I need this CM12.1 for my second device, Is this one is better than the last official?? Actually I am trying to find last official but it is too hard after shutting the server down.. I find some files but there is annoying gapps built in
It works really stable and proper with all standard features (Wifi, SIM, extSDcard, BT, Theme Engine, Encryption, battery life, ...). What else do you expect?

It's mostly the same as the last official one, but updated. So it's better ;)

Yes, I still use it and also my wife.
I regularly check 14.1 and if it has the same stability as this 12.1 I'd consider to switch. But I just read some day ago, that on 14.1 encryption (FDE) was broken and FDE is a fundamental MUST for me.
I cant say much about linageos, but i can tell you that carbon 5x weekly 03-10 release, encryption is working, as i have encrypted with it :) im not sure which source carbon is based on though. hope this tip helps, p.s it is 7.1.1 N.

2017-03-31 Release

New release. Only kernel upgraded, nothing else fixed.
Think I will try to provide a fix update soon, about wifi for z3c, and the FC, then drop this support.
It is a really bad idea to keep using 12.1/M now.
@budakmashoor Don't really understand your problem. Any chance you can test with another 12.1 device? It seems to be related to lineageOS sources, could you try to ask into their IRC chan please?

Hello. I have your assembly cm12.1 from 12.02. Tell me, can I make a dirty installation of your latest cm12.1 build? I also have your twrp 3.02.4.

Ok, ill try on z3c later. As for cLock @ chronus app problem, i think it might be because of yahoo or open weather changes in api, or that is what i think. I'll just use other substitute anyway.

Installed the assembly on 03/03/2017. Everything is very cool. I have not seen a faster and more stable disk. I very much hope that 14.1 will be the same. Thank you very much!

great microG compatibility

Does someone still use this rom after the 14.1 release?
I use your great assembly of this CM ROM. I use it without GApps and with microG GmsCore

This ROM is very good for me because:
  • Rock stable
  • Contains no GApps
  • GApps independent
  • Deodexed
  • Can be easily signature spoofed by Tingle
So this ROM accepted microG services as if they are native Android system processes. I have said bye-bye to fast battery drain and bloatware.
I tried LineageOS 14.1, but met in-call sound volume bug (known). Also I could not force system to register UnifieldNLP service as system one. I tried earlier LineageOS builds and could not signature spoof them because spoof programs told ROM is odexed.

Thank you very much for great job well done!

WiFi nor workings!
So I guess you manage to install it?
Are you a z3c user?
Please provide me a full logcat and full dmesg after trying to connect to wifi.
You can find useful information about logs here.

Yes I have z3c.. When first set up, there was no WiFi network to discover.. I completed the set up, when telephone started.. I tried to turn WiFi on, but system hanged a little and WiFi stay turned off.. I tried from settings and the same.. It turned on after little hang with no networks.
In evening I will try to provide you with full details and logs.. Thanks for your efforts. :good:

Yes.
I know this is a late reply to this question but, I just reverted back to CM12.1 after trying your LOS14.1 for about a week and a half.
I truly love LOS14.1 - and I certainly can't complain about having a true camera function built in to the ROM, instead of running MultiROM with both stock and CM12.1 simultaneously, like I have been doing through the last couple of years.
I reverted back because of the small instabilities in some features (screen light being weird, in call volume being too low, plus small things here and there) and I really need a more stable ROM (eg. Not early developments) as a daily driver.
But the main reason I reverted back to CM12.1 is for Xposed and theme features. I know Xposed is not something related to the ROM but it's a real buzzkill that it's not working for Nougat yet, and I'm really depending on modules like the pie control in Xposed Edge.
I will be checking back on LOS14.1 in a couple of updates, just to see how it goes, but for now I'm not completely ready to upgrade. Sorry for the long post, I hope this gave you a somewhat useful insight in why a typical user of CM12.1 haven't updated yet :)

P.S. your CM12.1 build is hands down more stable than the last official Nightly builds before CM went up in smoke. Hell of a good job man :good:
