Hello,
This thread just to share two roms I made from original kdz D80220H.
I've tested each, installed from TWRP 2.8.1.1, after wipe system, data, cache and dalvick.
Both can be flashed on 16Go or 32 Go device.

---

The first one is a pure stock rom without root and with the stock recovery, that can be flashed from a custom recovery.
Root and custom recovery will be lost after the flash of this one
.
For the root, for my part, I let TWRP 2.8.1.1 do so by following, by accepting the proposal he made to me at my request to reboot system after the flash. I was so easily rooted again.
For the custom recovery, the patched kernel does not yet exist for this version, installing a custom recovery you would lose the benefit of the news that may contain the kernel of this new firmware version.

Download link of this pure stock rom D80220H open eur, without root and with the stock recovery:
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95784891001610945

---

And the second is the same, but prerooted (SuperSu preinstalled) and allowing to keep the custom recovery.
Custom recovery will be kept after the flash of this one .

It's prerooted and with 20D Knock code Cloudyfa kernel integrated (simple stock KC kernel, just patched).

This pure stock rom D80220H open eur, prerooted and friendly custom recovery can be downloaded here:

Thank's to:
@thecubed for his [python][Tool] LG Compressed KDZ Extractor
@cybojenix for his tool (system merger)
@bullghost for his windows GUI version [TOOL] KDZ and TOT Extractor
and for the one prerooted, friendly custom recovery:
@Cloudyfa for the kernel and permission to integrate it, @bender_007 and @citytrader for their advice for the integration of patched kernel, @autoprime for his ioroot25 that inspired the way I proceeded to preroot, @Chainfire for his SuperSu

Info, explanations:
To have a custom recovery in the G2 in KK version, we need to have a downgraded bootloader in JB version, and a patched kernel for being able to boot behind this bootloader.
Downgraded bootloader, because KK bootloader was patched by LG to stop the loki exploit (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2292157, https://github.com/djrbliss/loki). So we have to use the one that is lokiable, the JB one.
The patched kernel (https://github.com/JackpotClavin/an...mmit/7b6187a0e5fb8ca59888cacf5f5b863baa8d1064) can only be produced if the sources were published, and it is not the case for 20H. The latest version released back to the 20D:
https://www.lg.com/global/support/opensource/opensourceList?types=ALL&search=d802.
However, the latest patched kernel available (the one containing knock code) should work fine.
But if changes (improvements) were made on the 20H (I do not know if this is the case, and I don't think it is), the benefit of these innovations would be lost with the installation of an older kernel.
Note: It was the same situation with the 20f and the 20G.

note:
Recently codefire team realized a new way to get around locked bootloader.
This system (BUMP) allow to keep the bootloader in kk version but obliged to bump kernel and recovery.

Is there any benefit on upgrading from the G version to the H version? Is one more stable than the other or are they roughly the same?

I don't use it but if you look at the updater-script (in the zip) it just deletes apps (and .odex when need) in /system and /data, so it should work, i think.

hi 6ril1, I flashed the zip debloater of somboons and it seems go well for your rom :good:
I wanna thank you for your work and for rom prerooted expecially :fingers-crossed:

I also tried smallnavbar mod of somboons but it doesn't work, g2 goes in bootloop

You know that there are 2 different bootloader KITKAT and JELLYBEAN based, and 2 different recovery, the "normal" that is for everyone on JELLYBEAN booloader(stock jb or kitkat patched with autorec) and the bump version released for who want a custom recovery on a kitkat booloader.

Now,my question is: Is this flashable zip compatible with both 2 bootloaders and both 2 recoveries?

You have two rom in this thread, as explained in OP:
The first one contains all original stock partitions, so when you flash it, you lose recovery after flash, and you are with pure stock firmware (20H BL too), like if you flashed kdz/tot. So you can flash it from JB or KK BL, no matter, you'll lose your BL and your recovery.

The second one, wich is prerooted, flashes cloudyfa lokified kernel, as explained in OP, so it's only for JB BL.

My last 20H ROM there: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=58575725 is for those who want to have 20H BL (and have allready a bumped recovery).
My last 20H for bumped recovery was made after this thread, (bump just began to exist when i made it).

    Note:
    1) "normal" recovery, as you wrote, is a "lokified" recovery
    2) autorec just downgrades bootloader to JB version and doesn't "patcht" it (it flashes laf partion, wich is download mode, install a lokified patched kernel, and install lokified recovery too, in 2.7.00 version)

Did i answer your question ?

    Hi,
For those who have migrated to a version of bumped custom recovery (@blastagator TWRP 2.8.4.0 ), and wish to switch to kitkat bootloader, I share a zip that I made for my need. It is tested and works perfectly on my prerooted 20H.
It contains all the originals bootstack 20 H partitions (from bootloader to kernel).
The result is an original d80220h firmware, with original kitkat bootloader and kernel, which preserves the recovery (bumped recovery).
So those who want to migrate to other rom with Bumped kernel can do so more easily.
Following, I will prepare a full original D80220H firmware (with the original kernel and kitkat 20H bootloader) to flash from a Bumped TWRP to easily go back to a rooted stock preserving custom recovery, for those who have a Bumped TWRP.

The flashable zip for migrate to the original kitkat bootloader/kernel can be found here (Please note, you must have flashed a Bumped custom recovery before flashing this utility !) :

OP can i request a little something, magic word: please? I flashed another kernel and i would like to revert to stock H kernel of this rom.. Possible to make a flashable zip of kernel? Too big to re-download entire zip would take too much bandwith :(
    Pleeeease

    Hi,
The pure stock 20H kernel isn't possible today with a custom recovery. as i explain in OP.
The kernel, in the recovery friendly version of these roms, is 20D Knock code Cloudyfa kernel, and you can find it here in a flashable version: simple stock KC kernel, just patched).

If you want pure 20H kernel stock, you have to flash original KK bootloader too, and stock recovery + laf too, or more simple, flash the full first version of the two roms (but no custom recovery and no root after flash).
    2
just to make it clear: if I flash "the second is the same, but prerooted (SuperSu preinstalled) and allowing to keep the custom recovery.
Custom recovery will be kept after the flash of this one ."
my twrp recovery will be safe, right?
    Yes
