I have just freshly i installed this amazing ROM and have a question:

- is there a way to restore contacts I backed up to SD card through built in LG backup and restore function? I expected it won´t be possible in the custom rom so I was relying on Google sync and it appears that google wasn´t really syncing phone contacts (only gmail contacts got restored). I tried installing LG bridge on PC to restore the backup from there (don´t really know if that is possible) but it just says "no device connected" even though in windows I can normally browse through internal memory and SD card.

Appreciate any help.

I use this app for sms and contacts and call logs backup. Then i chose to upload it to my Drive acc. It hasnt failed me once.

you could export your contacts to an sv file and then import them back

sure I could first export into CSV, but atm I am stuck with no contacts or any other data, the only think I have is backup through LG backup (*.lbf file extension) and I need to get those data somehow extracted

Flash a stock based lg rom which has lg backup. Restore your lg backup. Export your contacts to .vcf on external sd card.
Then flash crdroid again.
Otherwise not possible to restore from an lg backup!

Thanks for suggestions, I hoped there was some magical way to recover data in this ROM.

Also what do you think about battery life in this ROM compared to 6.0? Don't know if my battery is dying or it's this ROM..

Another question, what is safest way to flash back to stock 6.0 from this ROM?

I have just tried LG flash tool 2014 and LG UP and my phone is not recognized by either programs... even though windows sees it alright.

have you tryed to use the latest lg usb drivers

I tried latest, oldest, in the middle drivers and in the end it went though after fifth try on the same drivers (with LG flash tool). So all good.

Went back to 6.0, recovered contacts, somehow twrp got unistalled, so to twrp install once again, root and back to this awesome ROM. Just battery life is not as expected so now I am looking into something like G3X kernel even though I have no idea how I would use it...

Guys, can anyone pass SafetyNet in Magisk (on G3ds)? I tried it on my Pixel C with LOS 15.1 and it pass, so I would like to run Google Pay, but it does not pass on my unofficial LOS 15.1 on G3ds.

I've been succefully using android pay with magisk for 3 months, but since 3 days my android pay does not work anymore, magisk can no longer hide Android pay, Magisk Core Mode enabled, Safety Net passed, but Android Pay detected root. Have tried magisk v13.0 and magisk manager v5.0, the same.

Have you been able to find a way to use Android Pay?

Hi all,
I have running this ROM for the last couple days... everything seem working good except my bluetooth earpiece headset sometime disconnected then reconnected after 10-15 seconds by itself (it did this for no reason!).

I need some help from anyone who could/would hive me some guidance for the following:

1. How do I setup this ROM to record the calls conversation? (is this feature available with this ROM?)
2. Can I setup my bluetooth earpiece to automatically pickup/answer the call after 2-3 seconds without touching the answer on the screen or press any buttons?

Your help would be very much appreciated.

Hi,
I managed to use Wifi on 5Ghz -> channel 149.
Weird enough, the phone works on this only when I remove the SIM card.
With the SIM in the phone, the Android reads the country from the SIM GSM subscriber and applies the WiFi channel restrictions for that country.

The menu for changing the country for WiFi does not work...

I have a d858hk which was on marshmallow and everything was fine till it suddenly had static heard by the other person during bluetooth calls or he doesn't hear you at all.
Reverting to kitkat fixed this but kitkat is laggy and gives me other errors.
I am asking about this rom what is not working and can i load it to d858hk ? Does it have any known issues ?

Please fix SIM .. the ROM Is amazing , only need to fix the problem of the SIM card
