I had to do a clean install and after use push in the Playstore 5.3....... patched version to keep playstore going. I started to get a lag amd also had to flash the lag fix. Seemed weird to me but it worked. Im not messing with Xposed. Too many possible issues reported it can cause.

Do you mind sharing the playstore 5.3 patched version? Also, how do you push it?

Sure here is a link to the playstore
Playstore Link

You can use ES File Explorer to place it in the correct folder. Make sure Root Explorer is turned on (under Tools) . Name of the folder is "Phonesky" copy in the file (link is to the apk file).......rename the old apk to Phonesky.apkbak or something. (Always good to keep a backup) Then rename the dloaded file to Phonesky.apk. You then have to set the file permissions. Change it from whatever it is set to, to what you see in this image (right). View file properties to bring up the option.

After you uninstall 5.7 and swap the phonesky.apk, how do you prevent Google from updating the play store?

It's an intresting lag. Like when you want to make a call, you touch the phone and it takes 5 seconds to open. Im been using 3C toolbox to kill apps and it's kiled as many as 60. Why are so many apps running at ounce. I know there's app killers out there, but to me that's the cause of the lag.

Easy, at the left corner tap the 3 line prong. Tap settings them in the first option change it to do not auto update. If it's just one app in particular find that app in playstore and tap the 3 dot prong in the right corner and uncheck auto update.

What game are you trying to save? Have you used titanium backup and backed the game up and then restored it on the new ROM?

The thread has come to a screeching halt. I had great expectations and donated as well. But v3 is too laggy, constantly reboots, and crashes Google play. I have all the respect for sac and his contributions to the note 3 community. So I am not pointing any fingers here; I'm just lamenting the fact that this ROM does have some shortcomings that make it hard to use.

I saw that sac released another ROM (Norma), but the reviews were mixed. So, I made a command decision and re-instated kit Kat (Note X, v 15). This ROM is extremely stable, fast, no lag, has Beastmode kernel, and basically does everything well. No punches against darklord S6; I realize sac put a lot of effort into the ROM. But I simply couldn't handle the lag, skipping, freezes, etc... It's bad enough that my entire family have iPhones and they all say my phone sucks because it's unreliable. That hurts, especially knowing that the note 3 is way better than any iPhone.

So, I just wanted to thank sac and everyone else that made this thread awesome. I will miss you guys. I still don't know if I'll upgrade to the note 5, since they're keeping the lack of a micro sd card a secret, hoping that people will still buy the phone without it. I won't. My 128gb sd card serves a vital function in my phone and I'm not going to give it up just because Samsung has turned into morons.

It's been an honor and a pleasure to be part of this thread. I wish you all the best of all and happy smart phoning. Cheers.

First, you're one of few experiencing issues like this, which are all do to improper wipe and incompatible apps. Consider that this is a PORT not a note 3 ROM, you're gonna have to live with some bugs. Personally all ive seen is one bug not worth even posting , everything else ive just figured out a work around and pist my results.

Second, no one cares about your hope , wishes and dreams about upcoming phones and their short comings, at least wait till they're out to post your disappointment, you might be surprised and not look like a fool for trash talking, JS.

LASTLY, you dont like what you see, extend your gratitude to the developer and say thanks and hit the road kid. Remember, no one forced you to flash this port and put a gun to your head to like it and stick around waiting around for more genius development to be handed to you just becuase youve donated something. Stick with a stock ROM, might be best for you. Good luck with Note5....cheers
