So probably noob question..but I'm on Jedi KK and miss this rom ever so. Currently 4.4 everything. Do I have to downgrade firmware to run this? Again, sorry if noob question and maybe I missed it but any help is appreciated. Thanks

Try Hyperdrive. It's 4.4.2 and TW based (like DS). I flashed it while I'm waiting for DS V7, but I'm not sure there's a reason to wait. I guess Jovy will customize the look and feel, but I could just theme Hyperdrive..

It has an aroma installer like this ROM and lot's of options. Worth a look while we wait anyway.

I don't think I've ever missed a ROM so much as I have darthstalker lol Everytime I see someone post in the thread I'm hoping it's a post of them saying "Downloading!!!!" because @jovy23 had just literally posted the link to the ROM without first updating the OP. lol.....call me crazy but I think of scenarios like this.

• User activity in this thread, as well as support by the developer has not ceased, so there's no real reason to close

• I see more cons to closing this thread than benefits

I re-installed the Rom, and all the Samsung apps just to be safe, and I still can not get this to work.
When I go to the app store, it does not even show the Samsung Gear App to me. I believe because it sees that my phone is not compatible.
When I go to the Samsung website and try to download the app, it clearly says that my phone (Running Darthstalker 6) is NOT a compatible phone.
Any ideas? I would really like to keep this Gear 2 Neo, and get it to work with my phone.

I have had this problem with multiple roms. I had to find a rom that worked with my g2 neo then downloaded titanium backup and backed up every app that had the watch symbol beside it. I think it was 8 apps. then install this rom like normal and after getting it running download titanium backup again. Download the samsung appstore from the website your watch tells you to download from. Then restore all the apps you backed up from the watch. Then wipe your watch under settings , reset gear. Then just connect it up like it was all stock... Let me know if this works...

This did the trick,
I downloaded the APK file and installed it.
It then found my watch, and said I needed to update the file.
It is now working.

For those of you waiting for V7 to drop.. or have given up waiting... what ROM do you recommend as a next best choice? I'm on "use the force" ROM right now, but he hasn't updated in quite a while as far as I can tell.. Looks like the one that uses the "H" logo is getting a lot of TLC... anybody have any recommendations? I think I'm going to try and flash something different this weekend... looking for performance and stability mainly... not a bunch of "nice to have" features.

I'd rather be flashing a Jovy masterpiece than asking this question- but I'm honestly starting to give up hope. And that's ok, dude has a life... so what's a good 2nd choice for somebody who doesn't have a lot of free time to play flash-olympics looking for the right one?
