Use this app...Is anyone else having issues with uninstall in apps, using a different launcher? I'm using nova, and if I try and uninstall a user app, from the app drawer or the home screen, the phone freezes and I have to pull the battery.
The app will be gone on reboot. Also using titanium, the only way I can I can uninstall is by first freezing the app, then uninstall the app. If I try and uninstall first it will freeze the phone, requiring a battery pull.
Clean install, twrp 2.6.3.1, md5 checked prior to install.
A device reboot or checking to see if you have any syncing errors in settings will help. Also turning off sync in the notification panel and then turning it back on will help.Google services is eating up my battery what kind of stuff can I shut off to stop this. Could it be me being stuck on edge at work?

Ok so if I get the text messaging work I have my contacts started crashing again, it's really weird. I restored and used the TB fix restorer app, still no go

Not having any trouble myself uninstalling apps in Nova. that said I am not running Darthstalker. I am running Jovy's Stock DeOdex. That app fixes the issue with TB restoring apps, my issues is trying to uninstall apps, from the app drawer.
I'm wondering if some of the current apps need a touch up to deal with the note3
When you installed Recovery for the first time, was there an SD card in your phone? Some people out there think this might be a major factor...Yeah - I was one of those guys that flashed Jovy's 1st rom Deodexed stock rom (which flashed fine and ran good), then I used TB to restore my files and started getting force closes so I tried to use twrp to restorate my stock rooted nandroid backup and thats when the boot loops started for me. I believe like people are saying - one could flash this rom and probably be fine. Seems like for now trying to Odin back to stock isn't working out for a number of folks, so flashing is risky at this point. Once there's a proven method to get back to stock, I'll start flashing roms. Until that point - I'm sticking to stock.
I had to return my phone to T-mobile and lie about what happened (which makes me feel like a bum, but oh well.
Anyways, like Warrior I won't clog up this thread - just a heads up is all. I bet this is a nice rom - I'm just plain worried if something goes wrong, I'd like a viable way to return to stock.
Here's the thread for the folks like me who had issues:

You wouldn't happen to have that apk would you? There is something wrong with the contacts apk, getting force closures while trying to load contacts... throwing in contacts apk from version 1 makes the force closures go away. Also, SystemUI.apk won't allow me to change battery icons, it says unsupported compression method... SystemUI.apk from version one allows changing battery icons.
Thanks bud. I always have sync on but if this will happen for the sake of 1 email I can refresh it myself. Thanks again.A device reboot or checking to see if you have any syncing errors in settings will help. Also turning off sync in the notification panel and then turning it back on will help.
