Remember as i said before, DO NOT DIRTY FLASH. I think that's why most users have issues and i have already stated this above my instructions on how to install the rom to always perform a full wipe on any of my updates, but i think some users just go straight to the download link.

Follow the instructions in the OP section WITHOUT skipping not one step and you will not have no problems. Also if restoring from titanium backup make sure to use this app...

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.viper.tbrestorefixerfree

Right AFTER you restore following a reboot on your device to fix any app force closes. You have to do this everytime right AFTER you restore anything.

Is anyone else having issues with uninstall in apps, using a different launcher? I'm using nova, and if I try and uninstall a user app, from the app drawer or the home screen, the phone freezes and I have to pull the battery.

The app will be gone on reboot. Also using titanium, the only way I can I can uninstall is by first freezing the app, then uninstall the app. If I try and uninstall first it will freeze the phone, requiring a battery pull.

Clean install, twrp 2.6.3.1, md5 checked prior to install.

It will fix all app force closes and app freezes if you restored from TB.

That app fixes the issue with TB restoring apps, my issues is trying to uninstall apps, from the app drawer.

I'm wondering if some of the current apps need a touch up to deal with the note3

Google services is eating up my battery what kind of stuff can I shut off to stop this. Could it be me being stuck on edge at work?

A device reboot or checking to see if you have any syncing errors in settings will help. Also turning off sync in the notification panel and then turning it back on will help.

Have you dirty flashed? Have you restored anything that has to do with contacts or messages?

I did not dirty flash, no restoring messages or anything like that. Your other Rom worked flawlessly, but I wanted the tweaks in this rom

There is something wrong with the contacts apk, getting force closures while trying to load contacts... throwing in contacts apk from version 1 makes the force closures go away. Also, SystemUI.apk won't allow me to change battery icons, it says unsupported compression method... SystemUI.apk from version one allows changing battery icons.

Yeah - I was one of those guys that flashed Jovy's 1st rom Deodexed stock rom (which flashed fine and ran good), then I used TB to restore my files and started getting force closes so I tried to use twrp to restorate my stock rooted nandroid backup and thats when the boot loops started for me. I believe like people are saying - one could flash this rom and probably be fine. Seems like for now trying to Odin back to stock isn't working out for a number of folks, so flashing is risky at this point. Once there's a proven method to get back to stock, I'll start flashing roms. Until that point - I'm sticking to stock.

I had to return my phone to T-mobile and lie about what happened (which makes me feel like a bum, but oh well.

Anyways, like Warrior I won't clog up this thread - just a heads up is all. I bet this is a nice rom - I'm just plain worried if something goes wrong, I'd like a viable way to return to stock.

Here's the thread for the folks like me who had issues:

When you installed Recovery for the first time, was there an SD card in your phone? Some people out there think this might be a major factor...

I'm one of the lucky ones. I've restored my stock backup from TWRP about 5 times and I haven't had an issue

You wouldn't happen to have that apk would you?

IndexService, which is a Samsung App, gets triggered by the installation of SD cards. This system app wreaked havoc with my phone as soon as I out my card in. The only way to stop it was to root and use RootAppDelete to kill it.

It caused me to have bootloops in unrooted Stock, and blocked installation of some apps from the Play store. People are reporting enormous heat from this app, which I experienced also.

I am convinced that this system app is what is behind the TWRP/CWM bootloops. It seems to corrupt the installation of files onto internal and external memory.

Thanks bud. I always have sync on but if this will happen for the sake of 1 email I can refresh it myself. Thanks again.
