Well, are you sure you want this rom? Because waiting is all you'll get, and waiting and waiting, etc.

@Muffycheeks, the ROM is currently in the testing phase. Which means that its ALMOST about to release. The hard part is over, which was editing all of what @jovy23 did at first. The wait will not be much longer....

The update is only around 17MB the only thing i need is the ota.zip just to see what they have changed. Most likely build.prop, everything in the csc folder, and probably just an apk or two. Can't forget the new modem and kernel.

re: extensive testing NF1

Testing v7 on new update now. Note baseband and kernel. Looks like ne6 builds and kernels will run on the new NF1.

v7? You must be kidding (lol)...

But anyway in case you or anyone is interested I have done extensive testing
with the new NF1 firmware (from SamMobile.com) and found that the NF1
baseband and NF1 kernel is fully compatible with any NB4/NE6 custom roms.

I odin'ed the full official NF1 firmware, rooted it (cf-autoroot) and flashed twrp
custom recovery then I made a nandroid backup.

After making the backup I did a full wipe including wipe data/system/cache
dalvik cache and last but not least performed a factory reset in twrp.

Then I restored my nandroid image of Hyperdrive KK RLS3.1 NB4 custom rom.

Since the nandroid image does not contain the modem/baseband or boot-loader,
after I rebooted the phone the NF1 baseband/bootloader remained intact and the
phone worked properly without any issues that I could find.
(I even flashed the stock NB4 kernel as a test and that worked fine too.)

I done the same test using my NE6 nandroid backup of the Hyperdrive
custom rom with NE6 baseband with the same results.
This means that the new NF1 baseband/bootloader is fully compatible
with any custom NB4/NE6 roms and NB4/NE6 stock kernels.

I have a hunch that the reason for all this compatibility is due to the fact that
all these new updates (NE6/NF1) are still based on the Android 4.4.2 version.

Very good advice indeed... I have cleaned up the thread a bit. There are so many wannabe mods in here it's hard to keep up... PLEASE remember this is a Development thread. Not your personal hangout to whine and complain and shoot the breeze... That's my friendly way of saying STOP IT. It's getting old. For those of you here for the RIGHT reasons please disregard and my apologies...

"Everyone is entitled to an opinion" which is what my post was, and nothing I posted was remotely insulting "in my opinion"... With that said, I find it amusing that whining in Hangouts got thrown in there, considering the circumstances. I hope everyone has a wonderful night, and enjoys their time in here. This may be my final post in this thread, and to those that I offended, I am truly sorry. I'm sure the list is long, and I hope you all can forgive me.

The best is getting an infraction for telling someone to "shut the..." well "shut up" in a strong manner for whining about waiting to long for a new rom.

I hope that you change your mind about this being your final post once the riff raff here have hopefully, finally, made that decision for themselves. Being a fellow Infamous team member I know just how valuable your knowledge and support are. We could use more of that around here. When (and yes, I said WHEN, not IF) the next version of Darthstalker arrives people may need someone with your knowledge for advice.

Edit: funny how when certain people start commenting in here it starts to sound just like a Hangout. Just sayin'.
