Well to add to it if it may help, I have a note 2, sgs3 & an sgs4, all work perfect & never had this issue except for this phones wifi. All getting signals from 2 Netgear Nighthawk 7000 ac1900 routers. I just noticed others mentioned this as I was typing my post, lol. It happens at every place I go & use wifi. Samsung told me to switch wifi calling from wifi preferred to cell signal preferred, I was like wtf is that gonna help, lol. I said to em im talking bout the signal for wifi all together not wifi calling, lol.

Ok so let me make sure I understand... Wi-Fi itself drops the connection/signal, or does it happen during tethering?

ditto for me: my S4 is fine on the same Wifi connection.

I haven't even tried tethering yet, it drops the connection "just because"

Ah OK. Its WiFi in general. Weird. OK. Definitely a settings issue if things still time out after turning it off.

ok just so i am on the same page as you . you have unlimited data correct .then you dont need to add on the tethering plan. one of the issues i had with the hotspot was that you dont need to use the tethering apn . i am using it for my ipad and android tablet the hotspot is working perfect . as for the APN the one thats T-Mobile US LTE edit it and scroll down to the APN PROTOCOL and make it IP4 SELECT MENU AND SAVE . i was having issues with this the hotspot would turn on and then my tablet would go to the first website but the following webpages wont load not sure why but when i changed it to IP4 everything worked.

I had to add a new apn setting with out touching the others



ok guys i was looking at my NOTE 2 apn settings and i added what i had in my note 2 too my NOTE 3 and i still had my LTE setting enabled so the phone would use LTE towers when in range. .. i connected to my ipad all my web pages loaded and they loaded damn quick . i did take out the tethering apn profile that was in the rom .

here are my settings that i have been using for the past year : ALSO ONE THING I NOTICED IP6 WAS SET FOR THE TETHERING APN THAT WAS IN THE ROM I THINK THAT WAS THE ISSUE BUT I HAD ALREADY TAKEN IT OUT SO WAS NOT ABLE TO TEST IT. THE ONLY REASON I SAY THIS IS BECAUSE I REMEMBER A FEW MONTH BACK I WAS TESTING IP6 AND NO WEBSITE WOULD LOAD.

I have been on this ROM for 2 days. All of my calls, Wifi or Network are dropped at the 4:00 range, plus or minus a few seconds. I have tried it to quite a few different numbers and it is always the same. Any ideas or suggestions?

My search didn't yield anything in this thread. I know the default font can be changed in the settings, but that doesn't seem to change the font in a couple areas, like the chrome browser and the stock browser.
Anyone know of a way I can change that?

Flash the stock font zip in the op. That put everything back to normal for me.

Don't know if someone mention it already but the native hotspot with the Apn setting with the name T-Mobile US LTE doesn't work on LTE instead it does on 4g, just a observation


Edit:I'll take that back,I'm tethering with lte on the above setting, don't ask me why, but strangely I'm. .

I don't like that feature glad it's off lol but you can open up the phone app the go to call log then hit menu and select view and select what ya want to see

do you have WANAM installed? there's an option to suppress SMS/MMS from the call logs in there, too. not sure if it's linked to the system toggle (so it may stay enabled even if you disable it in the system prefs).
