The kernel that was in the aroma installer. I believe the one upgradable to the 2.6ghz. I left the settings stock though.

I did the non turbo I think that's the turboed one I would do a clean install and see if that helps and choose the stock kernel (non turbo), also if your running any modules turn them off restart see if that helps

No. You have to dirty flash. You dont have to flash the entire rom. Use the apps only option in aroma.

Can't Receive MMS when wifi is on

I use WiFi for calling, texting, and pictures messaging primarily since I don't really get a signal where I stay lol. I'm able to send pixies of WiFi with no issues. I would try clearing the data on the WiFi calling settings app and try to send a picture and see if it works.

My tethering toggle will not set. when i tell it to switch it switches back to the standard. I wonder if this is a kernel issue. I am using the Compulsion kernel. Any help would be great as i am about to travel and need wifi tethering

Try sending yourself a picture while using WiFi calling and if it works have someone else send you a picture while using WiFi calling. Also make sure you have auto download mms checked off in your messaging settings as well.

Having any "call button in contacts" mod will definitely break contacts. Jovy recommend not using any xposed mods. But, some have reported that they haven't had any problems with them. So...use at your own risk I guess. In the past during testing just turning off any xposed modules or even completely uninstalling the framework would not fix contacts fc and I would have to clean wipe and start over.

I have the same problem with low in-call volume with headsets. I uninstalled the two xposed modules I had and still have low in-call volume.

Also, I believe Jovy only said just to wait a couple of days before installing any xposed modules just to make sure there were no issues with the rom first. Honestly, I only installed Gravity box to get the back key to kill the foreground app.

This rom is sooo good that there is almost no need for any mods.

If I clear the Data for Phone and WiFi calling it will work for a few then revert back to not sending with WiFi on.

+1 While I'm typing a LONG text the phone freezes and the screen just goes black. I have to pull the batter and reboot. It happened 6 times this morning while I was arguing with the wife. Talk about losing an argument. Lol.

Wifi Tethering

Does anyone know how the wifi tethering works? What i mean by that is when i switch to the tethering APN is it supposed to switch back to the t-mobile lte APN automatically? I read on a post for another rom that it does this. So is this normal? That is what is happening to me and i wanted to make sure that is the case. I know we all want unlimited tethering right lol

The only xposed module which has "call buttons" as an option under "phone"
settings is Wanam and that's the only option in Wanam which will cause the
contacts/phone to crash if used. (it breaks contacts and dialer)

Any other options in Wanam which does not work is due to the fact that Wanam
is not yet fully compatible with Android 4.4.2 but none of it's other options will
cause the phone to crash or have any fc's when selected or used.

Most all of the Wanam's Xpose options do work properly without any issues.
Other modules like Gravity also work just fine with the Darthstalker v7 rom.

Please remember that the Darthstalker v7 rom has built-in call recording feature and
it does not need or require Xpose Framework or any modules to be installed or used.

Whats up with SecWallpaperChooser 2.0 in DS7?

Hi All,

I have installed quite a few ROMS over the years. Without a doubt, this is the smoothest,
"best running out of the box" ROM I have ever installed.

No problems or glitchy installation behaviors of any kind. I am so glad I waited for DS numba 7.

That being said, why is SecWallpaperChooser 2.0 a System app I cant move? Its 125MB for cripes sake.

How can I convert it to a "user app" and move it to the /data partition with either TiB Pro or LINK2SD Plus?

After I installed DS7 I only had 353MB available in "system" (I had 750MB free with N900TUVUDNF1).
So, I converted these apps from "system" to the "data" partition.

Everything appears to be running great, but what do you guys think? good idea or bad idea?
any other suggestions? I'm trying to get back to around 700MB free in system.

I recommend doing a total reinstall on the rom. I was having problem with my phone breaking up during calls and sometimes not being able to hear anybody when on a call, so I just reinstalled the rom and everything was fixed. Plus my problems stated after using xposed mods, so I recommend not using them.

Hi All,

How do I get the Call Recording MOD working in DS7?

I had the Xposed Framework installed on jovy's N900TUVUDNF1 stock ROM before flashing DS7.

I *did not* uninstall the framework or any modules (Wanam, Greenify and Xprivacy) before flashing DS7.
I just followed jovy's wiping/flashing instructions on page 1 of the thread.

I see no options in DS7 which enable Call Recording.

I have been reading the thread since 6am this morning, looking for a solution.
I see a lot of discussions in the thread about not using Xposed or not enabling
WiFi calling, but no tutorial on how to enable the Call Recording feature.

Thanks for your help, I'm tapped out.

You don't need to convert anything, just go into settings and click on the
"General" tab then scroll down to "application manager", there you will
see your apps and those apps which are compatible to being moved to
sdcard will have that option highlighted.

There is no option or setting to enable call recording in Darthstalker 7.
It's user selectable feature at the bottom of the callerID screen.

When you are in the caller id screen simply click on the "record" button
and your recording will be saved to /sdcard/sounds.

The call recording feature in Darthstalker v7 is built-into the rom.

Don't use the call recording feature in Wanam Expose, it will cause
your contacts/phone to crash when you try using it.

Darthstalker 7 does not need or require Expose Framework and or the
Wanam Xpose module in order to have the call recording feature.

Had this same exact problem but since I changed the kernel to 100% stock kernel I have yet to see a black screen or do a battery pull....
