If your flashing a different kernel then yes for the kernel step and before boot loki doki.
As long as you're not on safe strap that's right. If you wanna stay with the googymax kernel though, you don't have to flash it separate. Non safe strap users can use any of the i9505 kernels, just have to flash loki doki if kernel isn't loki'd

I got this beautiful rom yesterday. But I had play store connection time out issue . So I tried to fix it but ended up in reinstalling the rom....Unfortunately forgot to loki doki....got Samsung custom screen
Flashed again this time properly. But the custom screen still exists
......pls help in fixing it.

Flashed again this time properly. But again the custom screen at boot exists and play store still showing connection timed out both on 3g and wifi......pls help in fixing them....I can do surfing and tried clearing cache, data, restart ....everything. ..but play store isn't working

Fixed that but I want to remove the samsung custom boot screen
If you mean the custom boot pad lock do a search in xda for and app call triangle away it will take it away.

Quick question I can delete the Gmail and reinstall it from the play store and it will work again? And to get rid of that annoying pop sound all I have to do it to add .sh to the back of it rite? Sorry just flashed the gs 5 S's rom and what's this error message about sound alive?

To get to recovery when you get the triangle, count to 4 while holding the up key and power. Not 4 seconds. Just count to 4. It may take a few battery pulls, but it will work. Trust me. I've relied on it many, many times. And it's free
