Got a question I down loaded ROM everything working fine I decided to install exposed. I got gravity box and the Mod to tether. I started to notice the data signal wasn't working right 3G where should be 4G and it would some time say I had 3G or 4G but I didn't. I had a nanoid so I flashed back and all seems to be well. Is there a problem with some exposed mods? I'm in the woods in Wi so my signal sucks in a one mile area I can go from 3G to 4G to 1X to nothing. I'm on a flowage here and on the water its pretty much 3G except on the shoreline where the bars are its 4G thank you Verizon. That's pretty much were I discovered it I was getting crap signal no data switched back to nanoid without exposed bingo 4G. Anyone have anything like this?

I know its been over a month, but it has been widely reported that Data/signal are horrible on the 4.4.4/21.11.21 ROM, both OTA and debloated, which is why I flashed back to 4.4/19.6.3. Also, its possible to easily flash between Faux and stock kernels on 19.6.3, and not 21.11.21. Hope this helps.

You mean just the radios right. I'm glad to hearbImvnot the only one I guess guys just don't notice or care. I'm actually on the 19.5.3 baseband ( radio). I guess there are some sync problems but a small price to pay for a good signal. What have you noticed? For what I use the only thing that is a little problem is FB and it will work on WiFi or if your data isn't orange. Also if your on a 3G extended network it works fine.

Battery life is phenomenal, especially when you use Faux Kernel, Greenify (with Xposed installed), and Clever Connectivity. I'm a very heavy user (consistently 12+GB per month), and I never have concerns with battery lasting me all day. Keep in mind that you should give any new ROM a few days to "settle in" before judging battery life, as it will, in my experience, almost always get better, unless you have a rogue app eating it. Also, use Nema Battery Calibration to reset battery calibration, do a few full discharge/charge fully while powered off. I know the whole debate about the last couple of suggestions, but they have worked for me. uploadfromtaptalk1411536681946.png

Since you've unlocked your bootloader, I'd recommend ditching SafeStrap and flashing TWRP or another recovery of your choice. From there you can most likely getaway with just wiping dalvik and cache and flashing over top of stock. I'd recommend backing up with TWRP before you do it in case something goes wrong.

After flashing the zip in TWRP, when you go to reboot your phone TWRP will ask if you'd like to install SU; answer yes to that and you're good to go. I'd recommend updating SuperSU via the Play Store once you've successfully loading into your new rom.

Having an unlocked bootloader means never having to worry about losing root again, no matter if you're on a custom ROM or stock, since you can install it without an additional exploit. :)

No need to erase..is TWRP 2.8.0.0 campatable with XT1080M (obake).?

Been out of the XT1080M loop for awhile, not sure what is the latest TWRP for "obake"..2.7.1.1 (ghost) is the version I'm using on the 4.4.4_21.11.21 Droid Maxx..

One would flash the zip from TWRP..one shouldn't even loose Root..but if so..do a Super SU install from TWRP to regain Root..with the SuperSU file copied to your device storage before one starts..

Be sure your device is on the correct OS version before you start..

Despite what the OP post, can I just totally wipe my system using TWRP, and just flash the debloated ROM from scratch? Or do I need to flash a stock ROM, then reflash with the debloated file. Doesn't make sense to me why I would.
