134 DFP-10 works fine for me, but 109 DHT-17 and 134 DFP-74 do not work.

I'm on 134 DFP-74 right now. Updated from 134 DFP-10 - just did a nandroid restore, so the base still is DFP-10, if this matters. On both ROMs Data Meter was ok.

I had this in the chinese version, but not in this one..
And I gave up to restore, tried everything, advanced system restore, or data restore, nothing happened, except bootloop or again the same not getting into the homescreen, so I reflash it again..

I did full nandroid restore on 134 DFP-74 and it all went well. Maybe you can try to re-install the boot menu.

Copy the ZIP file to SDCARD. Reboot and enter into CWM you can apply the update from there. You can make a copy of existing framework-res.apk before applying this. But Not sure how to reapply it as I haven't come across the situation yet. The only difference between the Original version and this update is that you will see Number on the battery icon in the Notification bar.

You can overclock/undervolt from system settings in the 2ndInit menu. No need to use SetVsel.

You need to enable overclocking ( I think ) or something similar in the CWM.

Anyone else tried to get multitouch to work with this ROM? Defy Multitouch refused to run because my phone was no longer an MB525. I edited build.prop to set the model back to MB525 from MB526 and that seemed to make it happy. But then Swype stopped working, so I had to uninstall it and download and install the latest beta version from the Swype web site to get that working again.

Are there likely to be any other downsides to setting the model back to MB525 whle running this ROM?

You have to enable the overclock module in 2ndinit before you can use setvsel. I still use setvsel because it gives me better control over the overclock conditions...

I suffered the same issue, I thank you uninstall some system apps, such as universal inbox, yahoo contact *, work contact *. I tried many times, i found these cause this issue. Alternatively, you can install other dialer to replace stock dialer.

i find the solutions to solve the problems,
google+ 2.0 has conflict with the stock dailer.
just delete it and install the latest one is ok.

I've just installed the ROM and everything works great with my red lensed Defy thanks Walter! One minor drawback though, when my Defy is connected to my PC it says it's a MB526 which is normal but the USB driver says ME525 like the chinese version and it used to say MB525. How can I change that back ?
