I just tried twice to flash this rom. Both times it failed.

This is what I am currently using:
- AT&T 16gb S4 i337
- MDL Baseband
- GoldenEye v4.0 Rom (stock debloated Samsung)
- Team Win Recovery v2.5.0.2

See the attached picture to see the exact fail message. I haven't had trouble with my setup and other ROMs so far. The only thing I did was reorganize my SD card install directory to keep different roms organized.

Any suggestions/tips would be appreciated, looking to try pure android on my phone now.

There is a GE 4.3 untouched ROM using faux123's kernel which has been available for almost a month now in the i9505 forum. It is safe to install on our i337s.

Check out that thread, that's what ya need. You can debloat as you see fit being as it's untouched.

I'm wondering how I could get the Samsung Camera and Gallery? Is it as easy as copying them out of the system folder and putting them in this roms system folder and changing permissions?

Umm... epic. Just epic. I didn't think to check variations. I always forget they're compatible. Hope a 4.3 gets released of this one because I've been enjoying it, but I'll go with the other one for now!

Yes, I did the Factory Rest, then under advanced I do Dalvik Cache + System + Data.

I ended up using another GE rom (KangaBean) and it flashed with no issues, I also updated Team Win Recovery to v2.6.0.0 (not as happy with this version it doesn't always boot into it)

You must have had a bad download, my guess.

And
I would recommend OUDHS CWM recovery since it has auto loki. I used to have twrp but I think oudhs is an upgrade from it.

Just want to bump this and say you can use this rom with safestrap. Note wifi no currently working.

Everything works fine with me using safestrap except the SD card is not working anymore. It worked initially but now its giving me an error of blank or unsupported
Other than that this is a beautiful ROM.
EDIT:
Figures. My SD information was deleted somehow. Oh well!

I did the same thing and my wifi is working as well. However LTE seems spotty.

I'm having notification issues now.
I have att s4 with safestrap
And the smart cover.
My screen never lights up for notifications even if the cover is not on. Is this normal or not?

Nope. I dont have this issue. I would recommend a reinstall. Thats what i did after i started having some odd issues.

The only bugs i know of are:

I'm unable to get the phone to show up when connected to my PC. I get the "Connected as a Media Device" message on the phone, but it never shows up in the File Explorer on the computer.

I'm running SafeStrap v3.60 with this ROM. Does anyone else have this issue or know of a way to fix it? I really like the GPE ROM aside from this one thing holding me back.
