anyone else getting temporary launcher lag? From time to time, swiping through homesceens gets very choppy, then it fixes itself after about 5 minutes and returns to normal
Done and done. Still doesn't light the screen up. Only the noise and LED light flashes

Tried to do the same at work but it wouldn't install correct drivers/need to be admin/etc. so I'll test this when I get home today and let you know. I love this ROM too.
Didn't work for me either at home on personal PC. Tried turning developer options on/off, and USB debugging mode as well. No luck. DARN.
having the pc issue also. has anyone used rom toolbox or another app to edit the build.prop file to change the lcd density?
Aodhan, those of us that are using this ROM (and any other GPE ROM for that matter) with SafeStrap are having issues with MTP as well. I think this is because with SS we have to download the MF3 kernel modules provided by Hashcode after installing a ROM to make it work with Safestrap. Is there any way around this issue? Is this something that Hashcode would need to implement in his kernel modules, or is this something that can be addressed elsewhere? Is it even possible to make work?

I just noticed the OP hasn't been updated since July. is this rom not being updated anymore? still no addons now or ever?
Anyone using a GPE ROM with safestrap is having this problem. It appears that the kernel that comes with GPE is needed for this to work. The problem is that for safestrap to work, we need to flash the MF3 kernel modules after installing the ROM. This appears to break USB connectivity. couple questions here.. I just flashed this rom using safestrap and i'm loving it so far! my questions are how can you get to the recent apps screen. before root it was just holding the home button but that gets me to google now on this rom. also how can i get quick setting in the notification bar? last one how can i get the shortcuts on the lockscreen circle thing besides just the unlock logo?I would really like that. Thanks for the awesome rom!!

I cannot speak for the OP, but my experience has been that Roms which are basically enhanced versions of some stock ROM reach a plateau and development ceases. further tweaking then defeats the purpose of being a mild enhancement of stock.
recent apps screen - double tap the home button
quick settings - power toggles, find it on the play store
the lockscreen "circle things" you can add by using a different lockscreen app
not sure about screen mirroring or multi window. test it out

I'm getting this as well. From time to time I will get really choppy frames while swiping through home screens only. Browsing the app drawer or settings menu I have no lag. Only way to fix this for me is to power off the phone and restart which is kind of a hassle.
Any ideas?

Wifi is not working for me. The link for the Wifi fix is down. I have a At&t MF3 version.
Disregard I flashed the jflteatt-MF3-modules.zip and it fixed the problem. Now I have an issue where my computer won't see the device. I remember I fixed that earlier by flashing another zip but can't remember what file that was.

I downloaded this version of the Google Play Edition ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2370737) is there any way I can update to this ROM without losing my data? I cannot get my USB MTP connection to work, so I was going to switch to this one. On the OP, it says I can update to this without wiping, but will it be possible coming from this ROM? Thanks!
