Hi!

Is anybody aware of ROM-related internettraffic? Since i downgraded my RadioROM to 1.02.25.19 due to GPS problems with the latest radio-Roms i register a strange, significant increase in internet traffic.

Normally, my permanent exchange connection uses 600-800 kb per day... but since 4 days, it GRPS monitor registers between 1 and 2 MB per hour (!).

I double checked for having NO applications open in the background, checked the process lists for unusual processes and since that increasement startet ad midnight (huhu-scary *g*) i had a look into the notification queue too.

All i changed at that time was the radio rom... - and i have simply NO clue where all my traffic is going to?

Any hint into the right direction is highly appreciated!

Maybe the ROM developer tries to spy on you, and therefore sends all your new text and e-mail messages to himself ;-)...

Seriously: no auto weather download / other e-mail accounts checking / automatic windows update / stocks information / quickqps updating etc?

This is more likely todo with your company's Exchange configuration, or the amount of email that you have been receiving.

Either way, changing Radio ROM should not change the amount of data used (unless packets are being dropped (and, therefore, resent))
