I have had much more help with a post at this forum and have made some progress in determining the cause of my problem, though have not quite fixed it yet:

Inscrease internal memory

to iscrease internal memory from 30-40 mb:
1.download and install "terminal emulator"
2.run it
3.type "su" and enter
4.type "a2sd cachesd" and enter (its command move dalvik cache to ext)
after this operation phone automatically rebooted(boot time take a long, 5-10 minutes), and i have 138 mb free

It is awesome piece of work thanks.

Yet just one thing It wont let me move apps like Whatsapp and any other app that I was able to move to SD.

What may be the problem?

I also encountered same problem that I couldn't move apps to SD even after I used terminal emulator to re install it.
My SD was partitioned with CMW recovery 5 with 512M ext3.

go to www.ce4arab.com there you will find a desire forum,inside search for a subject (pre-rooted desire 2.3.3 and arabic patch file is there,just download it and you will get the arabic lang..

Hi guys, I really need your help, I'm pretty much novice in this field...
I'va installed Cool3D RunnyMede v4 but it's very very laggy and I cannot use my phone anymore. So I desided to install official HTC Desire version. But I have partitioned my phone with 1 Gb EXT4 part and cannot install this ROM, actually, I can install, but it doesn't boot

Can someone help me how I need to repartition my phone or what else I need to do to be able to install this rom ? Please help me or I will throw my phone from the window ))

I have downloaded Android_Freedom_Desire_2.3.3_By_MONI69.zip (147 MB)

but dont know how to install I already have HTC Desire 2.3.3 updated with HTC Offcial ROM RUU process.

could any one share how to install it. I have tried booting to recovery; but there is no option on screen; just a battry sign;

help.

It is a Base official HTC RUU.
So, maybe you might use a stock hboot instead of cm7r2 hboot.
