There is something wrong with the video drivers because I get a "squawk" sound every once on a while while playing games.

That's the non-famous "sound hiss" with stock cm 11. Flash red kernel or mani kernel to get rid of it.

AFAIK a patch has been submitted but was never merged...

Hmm, is there someone still maintaining cm11 for us? Perhaps the submitted patch included too many other things.

I have install latest build and the sound is very bad whene i set volume to maximum.

Try these gapps for cm11 and cm12.

I've created some new lollipop installation packages for gapps here on android file host. The backup scripts should be working now so you don't have to reinstall gapps upon each ROM upgrade.

I've also made a small separate installer for Google calendar and created another separate backup script for it also to keep the files upon updates to the ROM so it doesn't have to be flashed over each time.

Hi, no sorry, I don't know Viper4Android.

The installation of CM12 was successfull, not forget to update GAPPS to the Lollipop version as well.

Unfortunatelly, the SD-CARD unmount issue is still present, some features, like automatic diplay brightness level is not yet implemented, but will probably come soon. The LG tablet works smooth under CM12, but I think it better to factory reset.

Auto display brightness works for me on CM12 official. It was working on unofficial too before I switched. I have to use 4.2.2 base, as it doesn't work under 4.4.2.

Most apps work fine, only chrome crash often.

For me only issue is not been able to update from normal routine on cyanogen updates, always say is no update , only way to update is manual download on chrome. This happened on 9 and 10 updates.
