Hi.
I read all the different tutorials about Xiaomi products.
To update with this Dev ROM.
Should it be necessary to unlock the bootloader, or it is possible to install this ROM, renaming it update.zip, by sliding in the Download folder of the SD-card and then update from of the updated MUI module?

I think you're French like me ! So you need to unlock you're bootloader before flash some rom or update, flash TWRP recovery. You need to go to the MIUI website but I don't know how because I bought my device with bootloader already unlocked.

Hi. I come after unlock my bootloader .. to install the latest Rom mui dev with the link above. Everything works well. but I'm surprised that xiaomi is not yet released pie for the mid pad 4 ... despite who mui be version 10.3. the rom is still under oreo 8.1. is it planned the passage under pie of the mi pad 4 by xiaomi?

For some reason I can't add widgets on the miui launcher. There is a page when I swipe left that allows me to add widgets but the space is very small and I can't enlarge the widget. On the other screena where apps sit, I can't add widgets, only Quick Functions.

Anyone knows how to disable screen auto-rotation for home-screen and lock-screen only in miui? It's very annoying.
Well, doh. I want to keep rotation everywhere else though. When i rotate my phone or any other android device, the home&lockscreen stay vertical no matter the rotation lock setting. I'd like that on my tablet too as the miui live wallpapers aren't even compatible with rotation so if i turn my tab horizontally half the screen shows black background and it looks stupid.

I installed the rom that is in the first post of this topic and now every time my Xiaomi mi 4 pad will start, it shows a black screen asking for a password that I have no idea what it is. can anybody help me?
