Exactly. My Nexus 9 has never run so well!I agree, just using it for about half an hour, but it's very fast and organized very nicely. Everything is where you would expect it to be.

I'm doing the 64 bit. All good here. Not sure what the others even are LOL.So, what GAPPS is everyone using? 64 bit? I saw the TBO GAPPS in the OP... anyone try that?
The TBO Gapps are team blackout apps. At least that's what I'm assuming. I prefer inverted apps, so I was just wondering if anyone tried them.I'm doing the 64 bit. All good here. Not sure what the others even are LOL.
Ahh. Was wondering what that meant! [emoji1]The TBO Gapps are team blackout apps. At least that's what I'm assuming. I prefer inverted apps, so I was just wondering if anyone tried them.![]()
I am using the PA modular GAPPS. No issues whatsoever. It installs Play Services, which updates as soon as you boot, and everything else is solid. So, what GAPPS is everyone using? 64 bit? I saw the TBO GAPPS in the OP... anyone try that?
By any chance are you using Nova Launcher? Because I am, and I had the same problem. Then I went in to Nova settings, and turned on Google Now Hotword detection (I had it turned off because I thought it would interfere with the regular Hotword detection). Now the setting stays permanent and survives a reboot.64 Bit, only thing I noticed is that Google Now Hotword Detection everywhere gets disabled every Reboot. But I'm also seeing this behaviour on my N6, maybe something in AOSP.
I've never had much luck with hotword detection working very well on this thing. Stock or otherwise.By any chance are you using Nova Launcher? Because I am, and I had the same problem. I got a nice chuckle out of this post lol.All I can say is that hands down, undebatably, the fastest and smoothest ROM for the Nexus 9. Love the layout of the custom options and the dark theme for the keyboard is so sexy that I nominated it to be on the next Playboy cover. Amazing job!
Yeah I'm using Nova on both my devices. Strange, it stopped working a few days ago, no Nova Update. But I will try it, thank you.By any chance are you using Nova Launcher? All good with Maps here. I'm on the 64-bit GApps. [emoji4]That's gapps related.
Hmm... Just stopped working for me again. I just retrained my voice model in the Google Now settings and it's OK again. I will chalk it up to that for now and see what happens throughout the day. Will try to report back later.Yeah I'm using Nova on both my devices. Strange, it stopped working a few days ago, no Nova Update. But I will try it, thank you.
Never had that nav bar issue. Sounds like something funky going on - on your end. As for the QST, we're aware of it.Running great here. Two things I noticed.
The navbar is showing on the lockscreen, where it overlaps with the unlock icon. No big deal, just looks funny.
The touch targets in the quick settings tiles setup are off, touches do not select the correct tiles.
This is because he applied a theme, through the CM Theme Engine, and then re-applied the stock layout. It is a Theme Engine problem, not a DU problem. Reboot fixes the issue. Noticed the same on my N9 as well.Never had that nav bar issue. Sounds like something funky going on - on your end. As for the QST, we're aware of it.
You could probably use it, but there is an almost certain chance you wouldn't have a data connection if you did.. DU supports devices they own, and although there may be a future chance of an LTE version being released, I don't think one will be officially maintained, as it is not listed on DU's "supported devices" list.Hi All,
Has anyone tried this ROM with the 4G/LTE variant?
I'm using the LTE Nexus 9 now and I'm in dire need of a good ROM!
Thanks in advance!
