Hi, all!

I've had a read through the thread and I keep seeing excellent battery life mentioned in regards to this ROM. Just how good is the battery life compared to say stock 5.1.1 with a good custom kernel?

No need for a custom kernel. Use what is built into the ROM for the best results (and further support down the line).

And to answer your question, it's literally night and day -- the difference between stock 5.1.1 and DU.

does this apply for the nexus 9 in the latest changelog 9.7 ( Ability to have notification lights while screen is on) notification light for the nexus 9 would be great.

There is an LED on the Flounder, but enabling it would be a lot of work, and not really worth the reward. The only time it comes on on a stock setup is when the battery hits a critical level.

hi thanx for this rom.. i have been using it for a while, its a very good rom.. any chance to have encrytion disabled in future updates?
Reboot to TWRP and select wipe, then format data. That will make you decrypted. It will also wipe everything off your Nexus 9, so back up everything first.

So if I want to perform a full wipe in order to flash a ROM how would I go about it so as my storage isn't wiped?

Swiftkeyed from my Renovated HTC One M8
When you're in TWRP, go to the WIPE section and just swipe the bar that's on that first screen. That's a clean wipe. It avoids wiping /data/media, which is where the Internal Storage content is linked to.
