When you're in TWRP, go to the WIPE section and just swipe the bar that's on that first screen. That's a clean wipe. It avoids wiping /data/media, which is where the Internal Storage content is linked to.

Until now I manually wiped caches, system and DATA and the internal storage never got wiped.
Probably I am understanding something wrong but I'd be happy if you make this clear for me.

You answered you own question, you can also clean flash from "advanced" but you have to manually tick the check boxes, longer route, same results.

You're confusing two different things, and confusing yourself in the process.

CLEAN FLASH: Wiping system, data, cache, and dalvik before you flash a ROM.
FULL WIPE (to decrypt your tablet): Format data inside of TWRP. This is going to wipe your internal storage and decrypt it. System, data, and cache are left untouched, as they are not encrypted, only your internal storage is.

Thank you @NYCHitman1, up and running, only one thing pop on eye, if anyone knows answer or reason of this message what pops on every boot, before inputting screen lock pin: (flounder LTE)

In any other aspects of DU works fine, that message feels purely cosmetic at this point.

Question for users: What dark theme works best on this ROM?
I have tested few, DEEP DARKNESS // OVERHAULED (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.blissroms.moelle.ddoverhauled) and Material Glass - CM 12.x / RRO (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pitchedapps.material.glass.free).
Deep darkness breaks few things, APP manager and Privacy Guard controls fails with it.
Material Glass works better, only inside Privacy Guard it won't open specific controls, but accepts overall on/off per App. 99.5% working all on ROM with this.

Does you have good results with some dark theme?
Please share what theme, doesn't matter if theme isn't free, all are anyway so cheap and if working then really worth of it.

So does Privacy Guard app specific settings work on v9.7 at all?
If yours works please let me know, I've tried several ways, with and without theme, no luck, I can switch PG on for app, but can't go directly in app specific settings on it, only on/off switch of app and teach privacy to app when it asks permission to be awake etc.
So this menu is out of reach for me(pic from my phone):

It just gives this:

Any ideas what might cause this?

About log, eliminated that battery error, coming from betterbatterystats. Main FC error stays.

10-29 14:26:39.411 E/FlounderPowerHAL(1764): Error writing to /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpufreq/interactive/boostpulse: No such device

Ps2. Spanking dead horse, BBS might broke something, will feed phoenix oat to my horse, more when reflashed ROM..

Yeah, no big deal. Boost isn't necessary.

I'm on UK English now. It opens approx 30% of app specific settings, always same apps. I'll test that US English when home (n9 there). US vs. UK changes paper size to letter on several apps and that's only reason for me to use UK. Later more.

I have a problem with Adaway on this latest build. After enabling the program and applying the hosts, the app automatically disables with no reason. I've tried disabling the native adblocker, no luck.

Another user I spoke with said he had the same problem with DU v9.7 on his OPO.

Any idea of what can be causing the problem?

Take a look at these steps from the Nexus 6 Terminus ROM, also with built-in Adaway, I followed the steps and was able to get Adaway to work.

As for your privacy guard FC, make sure you're using the US English language.

Can't understand why this worked, but yes it works now when using US on system language.
Now have to dig out where is file what contains paper size settings and fork it to A4..
