Hi running this the last couple of days. Seems very good so far, a couple of crashes but nothing major. Quick question, is there any kernel app that is supported? Also I notice you mention not asking for help if problems because of xposed, does that mean that we can't use xposed on this ROM? Thank you for it anyway, I really do like it!

You should be able to use any kernel tweaking application. There's no limitation on that. As for xposed, you can use it -- but any issues you have with it installed will not be anything we will support. You'll be on your own.

Hi one other thing, it probably is not possible or can't be implemented easily but I really like using the slim recents panel. However while using that there doesn't seem to be a way to access multi window? Would a future update ever enable this feature? Sorry for cheeky question and seriously really loving this ROM even more as I become more familiar with it so thank you!

Nope. It was done this way purposefully.

So I used the DU updater to update to 1.2. The install loops at "Dirty Unicorn is Starting... - Preparing Settings."

I tried to reboot and the same thing happened. So then I went to revert to an older backup of the initial 6.0 DU image. And my pin no longer works... I never had another pin, so this is not a case of me forgetting it. Before I reverted to the initial 6.0 DU release the tablet would keep turning itself on, even if I shut it down, the tablet would power on within 12 seconds, over and over. So my Nexus 9 is pretty much useless right now, definitely going to lose my data.

Any clues what happened? I mean, I used the official updater, did not expect this to happen. Peeved and confused.

Did you clean flash or dirty flash?

Also, flashing instructions are in the OP. I strongly suggest that EVERYONE read them.

The first time, dirty. Then I tried again and wiped dalvik, and cache. This evening I will just redo the install, my vendor image is still 6 too, so I think I am fine on that front.

I'm pretty sure when NYCHitman posted the new build, his post said "new build is in op, this one requires a clean flash".
Clean flash means wipe system, data, cache, and dalvik.
Just wiping cache and dalvik is not a clean flash.

For the life of me I cannot figure out how to make the status bar stay. It keeps auto-hiding. I have looked through every single page of settings and there is nothing to prevent this. This was not an issue when I was using DU 1.0. What setting was enabled by default in 10.2??? I even tried using The Google with no success. It gave me results, but nothing useful that pertained to my issue.

It doesn't do that by default. You probably enabled expanded desktop.

Does anyone here use AdAway? I can't get it to work on the Nexus. It installs fine, applys updates fine but on reboot it is disabled. It works great on my phone, but I cannot figure out why it won't work on the tablet.

I think its best to use the built in ad blocking in dirty tweaks.

Device Administrator

Hi,

I am wondering if anyone else is having trouble updating the Device Administrator list found under Security settings? For me, whenever I try to check or uncheck any of the items under Settings -> Security -> Device Administrators, Settings app crashes.

I just tried and had the same thing happen. "Unfortunately settings has stopped."
