In the changelog for 4/23 it lists Add customizable action for back long press button & Add device key action to kill app. I'm looking for kill foreground app on long press back button. Does that exist?

OnePlus 8T
Hi everyone

I thought I'd install a new ROM on my 8T and after using an 'unofficial' build of Evolution X this one seemed to be the obvious choice. :)

OK, first the warning - I'm no expert at flashing ROMs but I'm keen.

The first thing I did was update to the latest OnePlus firmware with these instructions:

https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/kebab/fw_update - that worked but I noticed that the files to flash were fewer than those extracted from the payload.bin file, can you confirm if that's correct?

After that I tried flashing this ROM from the instructions in the first post and saw the following errors:

Code:
C:\Downloads\Evolution-X Fastboot ROMinstaller\fastboot_installer>ROMinstaller.bat
                          ++

What causes this error: "Invalid sparse file format at header magic" - how do I fix this?

Many thanks in advance.

I think is more important the "Resizing 'product_a' FAILED (remote: 'Not enough space to resize partition')" error... Because it will not bootAnother question.

I have checked the "Double tap to wake" but it doesn't work. I'm missing something?

thx

To me it feels like ram management is not great on this rom. Apps are getting killed almost instantly when I leave them. Even when there is a lot of free RAM still available.

Anyone feel the same?
I've run Evo X on my Mi 9T Pro before I got 8T and did not have this issue even with it's less RAM. Had no issues when running stock OOS.

For some reason about half of the 8T custom ROMs are using inexplicable heap sizes/target RAM utilization

On mobile but I fixed it with these props

1 - dalvik.vm.heapminfree 8m I think
2 - dalvik.vm.heapstartsize 512k I think
3 - dalvik.vm.heaptargetutilization 0.75

Added this just because it ran smooth on LOS
4 - dalvik.vm.lockprof.threshold 500

Magiskhide props config can do it
