No, I have not been really busy hopefully soon and I wish I can flash a GSI on that tablet if our twrp updated to see iMg's great but whatever it's ok I guess .

It's something like this https://github.com/EnesSastim/Downloads/releases/tag/PE-ARM-A-2018-10-17 which the tablet is a 32bit A Arm only but the twrp cant see it because its a img oh wow i didn't think of this maybe using fastboot i would be able to flash it maybe not sure .i probably will this weekend if i have time also they have phusson GSI Rom and descendant 2.0 those are pie GSI Roms and they are really good Roms too

But if you do flash it command line is

Fastboot flash system *********.img


On the blank space would be the name of the GSI copy the name paste it to terminal then .img at the end then flash who knows maybe it would work

I did not try it. My son uses the tablet everyday so I have to use something that works.
Can you link to the PIE ROM.

Damn! IF only RR cameras worked all would be good.

There is no point trying GSI images. They require a trebble compatible vendor IMG and vendor partition. This old tablet doesn't even have a vendor partition let alone the IMG to put on it.

Yea because the twrp for this device is old plus GSI is for generic system IMG for multiples devices no specific device so I'll ask someone in my group to see what they say or can do .

A new twrp won't help at all. Need tools to alter partition table and reparation storage with an extra partition for vendor, both system and cache partitions are too small to take enough space from so would have to steal space from data partition and re organise entire partition table. Then someone with a lot of skills and a lot of time would need to generate a vendor img and a kernel that would support all this. Good luck to you but I can tell you it won't happen. You are looking at months of work for a very skilled and specialised Developer.

I installed LOS 14 and all is working well so far.
Not sure why RR couldn't use the code from LOS for the camera.

I agree , like some GSI's most of them camera doesn't work or BT on standy, BT calling and its annoying because idk why they can't use the stock soc to use it for GSI's but if you ask a dev that they would mute you for 2 hours or kicked out for the day or even if you ask them about OTA banned lol I love telegram but I hear ya
