but i need to see symbol as coverage is poor, so i have to make sure that volte is there then only i make calls.

help would be appreciated.
I really don't know. It's an issue with lineage source. I just built it as is

Does this LOS (or any) have an ability to manage LED notification colors for wanted apps?

I'm waiting for my mido to be delivered, so am just curious in the meantime. Sold my Redmi3S land, just for better LOS compatibility and got the mido.

Need to roll back to MIUI. I did make a backup but it fails while restoring the Firmware an thus it boots up to the lockscreen but the fingerprint sensor nor the old patterns work. How do I get back to MIUI now? :(

Fails while restoring the firmware? There's no need to make a backup of the firmware everytime you backup a rom... well anyways if it actually boots into MIUI but you forgot to remove the security before doing the TWRP backup you have to go back to twrp and mount system partition then go back select advanced/file manager look for data/system and just erase locksettings.db; that should remove your pattern so just reboot and check.

Welp, Finally made my way back to MIUI. Had to go through a bit of a hassle because this is my first Xiaomi device and I've always been CWM recovery user myself. I'd prefer CWM over TWRP any day. But yeah anyway, I have noticed one significant bug while I was using the ROM besides the bad camera and low headphone audio issue which is, The color temperature randomly takes a warmer tint, and the only way to fix it is to raise the colder temperature bar higher from the settings, But then it randomly goes back to default and you have to reset the temperature from settings, Because then it will have a colder tint instead. These are the only three issues I have faced during the 1 day I've spent with this ROM. Maybe the devs can look into it further. Only reason I even flashed this custom ROM literally right after I got done unlocking the bootloader is that I wanted to use Xposed, Not knowing that I can perfectly use Xposed on MIUI. heh. If you're trying to flash this ROM because you want to use Xposed then I'd advice against it because you can easily run Xposed on MIUI using SolarWarez's modified framework. See pic for proof. That's called live display. You can turn it off in settings.

Did you turn on the live display because what you are actually describing is live display/night mode .

    LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 6 (marshmallow), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

    All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

    New Build Up!
    Changelog-
    * Source updates
    * Fixed dark camera bug
    * Fixed double tap to wake, it works perfectly now

    The rom is now fully stable. The only issue is the advanced reboot, but i guess it can be ignored as you can always use button combo to get into recovery/fastboot. Long pressing the fingerprint scanner opens up the camera. If you dont like it, you can disable the stock cam app and install snap camera mentioned in the nougat rom threads

    Hi, thanks Vidhanth. Looking forward to some updates.

    1) Holding the fingerprint scanner brings up the camera. I can't find the option to disable this. Can anyone help?

    2) Reading '/r/android/the_issue_of_security_in_lineageos' thread on Reddit regarding security patches on LOS. They say it's dependent on how well they are applied by the maintainer regardless of what it says the latest patch level is. Is this an issue here?
    1. Disable snap cam and use some other app
    2. I have the trees and kernel trees ready, it's just that I didn't have much time to update. My college just started so yeah I'm kinda busy. But I will surely update ;)
