Am I the only one who has problem with activating WiFi?

The symptom is that it take 5-10 attempts until I can finally toggle and connect to a network. Until then, it just turns off. You can see the attempts on turning it on, but it fails for some reason.

On another note, does the Pixel Launcher work for somebody. I know we are early in the development. Just want to know whether it is only me.

I suppose it would be helpful to mention in the OP instructions that the "format data" option will be followed by a choice of which filesystem to use, while wiping is more straightforward. It would avoid confusion between wiping and formatting.

Edit: I just checked OP again. The instructions say "format system data and cache". Could you please change that to "wipe system, data and cache" as it's also the term used by TWRP.

Ok so I have little (big) problem with alarm. Alarm is either ringing very quietly or not at all. Alarm starts ringing after unlocking screen with notifications about missed alarm. I didn't change anything power related in settings and only root apps/system modifications I have are magisk for root, busybox, adaway, card emulator and island. Phone have to be in deep sleep (probably) because I doesn't happen if I set alarm in middle of the day. I'm currently on december build. I'm gonna upgrade and somehow I will try to catch logs.

Hello

I have tried to install the latest build but with no success. It boots to android but askes for encryption password. I put the default password ( accepted ) but reboot and do the same process again.

Any idea what is causing this to occur?

I found that the default encryption password is default_password

However the next message is that the data is corrupt and I should reset my phone. I did not want to do that, instead I installed the december build again which booted OK.
Anyone else with this problem? Could it be related to Magisk?

In twrp mount system and type into terminal

 echo "ro.setupwizard.mode=DISABLED" >> /system/build.prop

This should disable initial setup after first boot.

I feel like this should be mentioned in the OP somewhere.

Made the switch from 15.1 to 16 (20190113) last night, above was the only annoyance really. That and the network traffic monitor is stuck in the centre of the status bar, even if the clock is also there (not a big deal, just thought it's worth a mention). Oh and the default Messaging app was triggering a notification continuously until I disabled its notifications and switched to Google's Messages app.

Everything's running great, battery life seems the same as 15.1 so far but don't think I've had the same issues others complain about with 15.1, could get through a day fine on there too. Thanks bgcngm :good:

If you backup the whole content of internal storage then you can restore right after the format. Nothing is lost.
